Sandy, what a dirty git!!
I can not believe Sandy wee'd in the bin! That is so disgusting, far more disgusting than weeing in the shower!
Not only was he boring to watch and disliked people for no good reason(Jonny, Kate), he's also a disgusting git for weeing in the bin! He ought to be ashamed of himself, and he deserved to be exposed. |

I don't think it was just Kate and Jonny that Sandy didn't like. I don't think he liked any of them, including Alex. After "Wee-gate" Alex felt isolated from the group and Sandy befriended him, but just used to bitch about other housemates and get Alex to do his dirty work for him. Sandy had a plan to divide the other housemates, whilst others took the blame. I think he was finding it so easy that he got bored and walked away. I think he stayed away last night for his own safety! It was just a shame that it was Alison who got the backlash from the "Keep Alex In" campaign in week 2. Just imagine if Sandy had gone, we would have had Alison in and no Tim! Still, all's well that ends well, eh?  :spin2: :spin2:   |

I did hear about it on BBLB, but actually seeing Sandy do it was completely repulsive. What a vile thing to do - he should be thoroughly ashamed, although I'm sure he's not. I also feel that, having seen him do that, Big Brother should have arranged to collect the offending bin during the night and arranged for it to be thoroughly disinfected, rather than leave it there for the poor housemates, who had absolutely no idea what was leaking from the bag, to deal with the following morning. |
I wonder, having seen that for the first time last night, what Alex thinks of his "friend" Sandy now?
|
bb should have gave a warning to kate, sophie b4 they cleaned it all up, and that clip made me sickhttp://www.plauder-smilies.com/pukeface.gif
:spin2: :bouncy: :spin2: :spin: :spin2: :bouncy: :spin2: |
I quite agree mcginn. Health and safety and all that.
|
Little wonder sandy was to cowardly to turn up. Couldn't face Alex no doubt after fooling him into thinking what a nice guy he is. "NOT"
|
I hope Dermot puts that question to Alex on the Sunday BBLB programme on c4. Let's see if he'll defend the can't do nothing wrong Sandy then. Not that it really matters anymore. :bawling: :conf:
:spin: |
I would like to have seen Alex's face as he watched that outside, but unfortunately they must have either:
a) not had a camera on him b) not had the sense to cut to a shot of him :joker: :joker: |
I didn't hear about Sandy weeing in the bin on BBLB, I only heard about it last night, but I am glad they showed it last night. They all needed to know what a jerk he was. Not to mention what he said about trying to crush Jonny's hand. Jonny's response was brilliant

Can't you see that we are all being manipulated royally? What they did to Sandy was a hatchet job.
The producers were angry at Sandy because he left the house and refused to turn up at the final and they showed the clip out of pure spite. Of course seeing that was disgusting. That's what we are meant to feel. It's as repellent as seeing Kate being sick in the bedroom would be, if they had showed that. Why was it shown during Kate's interview? Answer: most people would have been watching at that point and that would ensure Sandy got the maximum humiliation possible. Also, referring to Sandy in the interview with Jonny. The sole purpose of this was so that Davina could talk Jonny into making that nasty slur. There were several other moments during last night's Big Brother that made me cringe. The way the PJ/Jade incident was handled was sleazy. I so wish that Jade had just done what PJ did in his interview and denied everything. Jade might be being offered thousands of pounds for interviews at the moment but when all the publicity dies down and the invites to premieres and parties dry up, Jade is going to be remembered for one thing: what was written on the card that Davina handed her. Another awkward moment to watch was when a clearly drunk Kate offered Davina a glass of punch before the interview. Big Brother 3 was cynical and exploitative television and I am glad to see the back of it. |

Does that mean you won't be watching BB4? Ok, this series wasn't that good and the way certain things were handled was admittedly a bit underhand, but look what we got last year! Next year's BB might be the best ever! |
I don't really care what BB motives were for showing the Sandy thing. The fact it was shown and shown at a peak viewing time was in my book the best thing BB has done in the entire series.
It gave Jonny a chance to settle a score. Why not!!!! Television producers jobs are there to titilate the viewers. they did just that. why not!!! Kate drunk. I don't think so. Relaxed after a minor tipple. "YES" as she would say. Why not!!! I don't think I have been manipulated by last night show but I do know that I was entertained by it and that's just fine. Why not!!! |
I just don't like to be entertained at other people's humiliation. It's schadenfreude.
I don't know if I'll watch BB4. I'll probably watch it more in hope than expectation. The ratings this year have increased so the producers will take this as a sign of success. They're more likely to make the next series like BB3 than BB2. That'll mean more arguments, division and liquor. There were moments during this series where I was entertained but they were outweighed by the times where I thought - horrible. A couple of other things that annoyed me about last night: Graham Norton turning up to support Jade. He was slagging her off mercilessly for weeks. Now he jumps on the Jade bandwagon. Fair enough, he's entitled to change his opinion but don't turn up at the eviction pretending to be Jade's best friend. And he criticised housemates for being two-faced! Jade needs fair-weather celebrity friends like a hole in the head. Also, yet more boos for Adele and Tim. Credit to Tim though for letting Jade go on the stage on her own, so she wouldn't hear the boos directed at him. |

I suspect now Kate will be turned in to public enemy number 0, ahead of Sandy as: 1) The tabloids favourite (Jade) did not win (fickle things Tabloids one week they want someone out the next they are their favourite) 2) Pretty boy did not win, when he should have, being the chosen one I do not recall any newspaper backing Kate. :nono: Kate was therefore the people's choice |
I agree
I thought it was disgusting What does Alex think now mmmmmmmm  :elephant: :elephant: :elephant: |
James, I disagree with what you are saying for the following reasons:
If people were to react to what they are fed all the time, Jade or Alex would have won. As far as C4 getting their own back on Sandy for not turning up, I think he burned his bridges when he peed in the bucket. Other housemates were bound to find out, and I think that he would have been completely ostracised, if not thumped! I know TV can be exploitative, and I know that C4 did push the program in that direction, but I feel no sadness for Sandy. Peeing in the dustbin was not "dirty" as in peeing up the wall when you are drunk and can't find a toilet. It was premeditated, as an act of violence, aimed at housemates he didn't like. He did it in front of cameras, in full view. Therefore, whatever C4's motives, he deserves everything he gets. I hope he gets the sack from his job as well. I certainly would not want him selling me anything!      |
Well the weeing in the bin kind of Summed Sandy up for me, he was a horrible little man that would stoop to anything for his own amusement and I agree that it was an act of immature violence aimed at the other housemates. The only other thing he could muster up was to tell Jonny that he didn't like him, I mean how pathetic that showed him to be, he was far to miserable for the BB house and far to full of his own self importance. Well Jonny and Kate had the last laugh being the lst 2 people in the BB house.

I don't feel the slightest bit sorry for Sandy either. He deserved it. He was a horrible man who was so far up himself he thought he was better than everyone else. When he wasn't happy in the BB house, rather than wait out the day and leave by the back door, he had to *escape* over the roof. Maybe he thought people would remember him better that way, but he'll only be remembered for the negative things. He didn't have to tell Jonny he didn't like him. What was there to gain for Sandy by telling him that? Certainly nothing to gain for Jonny. Also shaking his hand and trying to *crush* it was also unnecessary. What a prat.
He also told Kate she manipulated the boys (and the fact was he was just jealous that she didn't flirt with him). Then we find out he wee'd in the bin. Clearly an act of extreme dislike, and he ought to be ashamed of himself. No one in that house deserved that treatment. No one did anything bad enough to him to deserve that, least of all the 2 that had to clean it up, Kate and Sophie. I don't feel that BB did the wrong thing in showing that, everyone had a right to know what kind of a jerk he was. I really hope he's happy with himself. Bottom line is he should have kept his mouth shut, left gracefully (out the back door), and not leave unhygienic presents. I wonder if when he's seen out and about does he get any abuse? |
It was horrible and so so wrong :nono: He may not have liked the people in the house but this was wrong :nono: He moaned like crazy with Alex about hygeine and then goes and does this :nono: :nono: :nono: :nono:

I don't think you can compare a premeditated act of peeing in the kitchen bin to being sick on the floor when drunk. Would you prefer if she choked on her vomit?
What sort of person is Sandy that he could do something like that? It's repulsive. As Kaz said, why wasn't the bin removed & replaced or disinfected? They should have ordered the housemates into a room and cleaned up. It's so unhygenic - that made me feel really sick. I wonder what his wife thinks about it? |
I wonder if she realised before that she was married to such a dirty monkey?
|
I thought Sandy was OK when he first came into the house, but fairly quickly realised that he was a miserable and (it eventually transpired) thoroughly unpleasant character.
I am sorry I didn't ever become entranced by BB3. It wasn't the fault of the housemates I am sure. I think James has made some very good points about the way in which the series was conducted. I hated the manipulation, the huge budgets and most of all the incessant heavy drinking binges. They worried me to death. I really feared something would happen to them (worse even than abandon beneath the duvet and public striptease). I still think they have seriously hammered their livers. Quite early on Kate fell asleep drunk in the water and had to be woken as she started to slip beneath the surface. Did the producers reconsider their tactics? No, they gave them more and more booze. Instead of dividing them into opposing camps they should have united them in adversity. Limiting them to basic rations with very modest treats as rewards would have been much more healthy for mind body and spirit. However, thanks to the runaway success in viewing figures you can will be another roman orgy of excess next year. Outwith all of that though, Sandy was a misfit who thought himself superior to the other housemates. He was a grave mistake, his behaviour was unforgivable. How unkind was he about Alison and towards Jonny? |
I missed quite a lot of BB3 but I agree watching the last few weeks that they had way too much alcohol. I think the producers were more interested in getting 'misbehaviour' on tape than they were about the housemates health. I hope they re-think how they are going to do it next time and go back to the way it was before. It didn't seem to be as bad last year (except when Helen was throwing up in the kitchen sink!!!). It's OK to get a bit merry but not very pleasant to get absolutely rat-ar**d every night. Instead of telling them to drink plenty of water & fluids with alcohol they should have limited how much they should have. Not very clever.
