How many times have they redone Dev's shop? The till's been in every single corner it could be lol.

I think it's time they made it just a whole row of houses with the pub at the end. A bit ridiculous there'd be a newsagents and a corner shop that close together in a small area where business is pretty scarce. New house with new tenants.

The Kabin looks almost the same, infact they both do. They should have revamped :dance:

It looks like they've ditched the whole "Corner Shop" routine and its now a mini-supermarket, they're even selling pet food and toiletries now xD

I like the exterior too, it doesn't look to follow a specific colour routine, and the pattern in the windows is what you see in any modern shop

Why does it say medicines over the fags? :laugh2:

Plus Petfood over the booze? :shocked:

I think it's just like buzz words they use in a shop, rather than a guide to where everything is xD

But there are no medicines or any petfood there. Just booze, fags and shampoos :joker:

The older Corner Shop was a joke, it was all packed so tightly xD

Just noticed, Norris can't reach to the right for Emily's midget gems anymore! She'll end up with 20 fags!

Where? In the Kabin or Devs? I can see a swipe card machine in Devs....

In Dev's but yeah your probably right I think it's a swipe card machine. Just from a distance it looked like a self scanner to me, would be cool for the soaps to follow trend with them but then you would lose the over the counter gossip etc. from the shopkeeper and the customer so I can see why they wouldn't want to.

Probably too small for something like that. I've never seen one in anything other than a supermarket

Don't see why a tiny little shop with the odd customer here and there would need a self scanner.

This is set to open in the next two weeks...the filming is only two/three weeks ahead

Alf Roberts had a 'mini-supermarket' yonks ago... Alf's Mini Mart.

It's a shame they have not been more radical with the new sets, they look very bland (especially The Kabin) they could have gone for a much better & bigger overhaul... :sleep:

What else more radical could they have done? Have upside down shelves? xD

The Corner Shop now looks a little more up to date, and actually has all the things a Corner Shop does

The Kabin looks similar, but I bet it will be more noticably new when it's seen on screen, also I have a theory that the hatch might become the Post Office counter
