The reason Dick isn't banned btw is because:

1. It's a Guy's name, what would you do, besides laugh at them, if someone on here was called Dick? Say: 'Hey D*ck, What's Up?' all the time..?

2. It's a slang word for something that's part of the body just like Sh*t is a slang word for something that comes out of the body.

It was censored because it was appearing a little too often, and casually, in topic titles. If it gets used too often it cheapens the forum a bit.

Maybe when signing up members are automatically put in the 'filtered' group but they CAN change this if they like?

As far as I know an optional swear-filter isn't really possible on this forum because the censor is applied when the post is stored, not when the post is viewed, unfortunately.

K. Thought it might not be able to be done.
