Emma Willis odds on favourite to host new BB

Emma Willis- 1
Brian Dowling- 4/1
Myleene Klass- 6/1
Chloe Madeley- 8/1
Return of Davina- 8/1

A few others:

Charley BB8- 14/1 :D she'd be amazing at it
Dermot- 14/1
Cheryl Cole- 20/1
Suzi Perry- 25/1 (would be a very clever choice)
Jedward, Nadia- 50/1
John McCririck- 100/1 :( (should be shorter)

I'd love to see Dawn French host the show , it'd give it a fresh begining but I'd like to see george and emma carry on prensenting bblb

Black Dagger 01-04-2011 07:45 PM

I'd love Fearne to do the main show...

Emma and George back for BBLB

Rusell Brand for BBBM (Although he is too mainstream to do it these days and he wouldn't anyway...)

33/1 on Josie sounds like a good flutter unfortunately.

And no odds on Ben :(

ILoveTRW 01-04-2011 09:23 PM

id put money on cherry, i think the only thing in the way of it happening is if cherry wants do it or not, C5 have the money to make it happen

AJ. 01-04-2011 09:35 PM

PaddyPower aren't even taking bets on Emma anymore.. :D

IMO the fav outsiders are Myleene Klass & DVO

Does that mean she is definitely getting the job?

Nah they probably only know as much as us but who else is there really?

dizzy bint 02-04-2011 02:44 PM

Those are good odds for Brian. If I was a betting woman I'd put a pound on him at that price.

I wouldn't, Desmond will be going for someone who he can perve over

Desmond is first and foremost a business man, it's been made clear he wants to make a profit out of this show. I doubt very much he'll appoint someone purely to lust over. He'll have someone he thinks the BB audience want. I actually think it's most likely to be a double hander with Brian and Emma Willis with them doing any spin offs as well.

BigBrotherfan4ever 02-04-2011 03:12 PM

I would love to see Brian & Emma doing it together, i think that would be great TV.

No, he'll go for someone who can get the show a lot of attention. Brian Dowling will only attract Big Brother fans and if you put him on the cover of the Daily Star, noone is going to tune in to see him. But swap him for Caroline Flack or Myleene Klass and its a different issue altogether.

If he wanted to go down the familiar route then they'd just get Davina back and wouldn't be attempting to get Cheryl Cole.

It will depend what's most important to him then. The interest of a few hours in the front page of the Star or the interest of months of presenting of his expensive new TV project .....

I can't see either of the two ladies you've mentioned coping with a baying BB crowd or knowing exactly what questions to ask an evicted housemate to please the crowd or cause maximum embarrassment to the housemate. Are either of them even BB fans?

Having said that, if the rumours are true, maybe Brian would prefer to go with the Xtra Factor job.

Caroline is, but she wouldn't do it because if its going to be on in the autumn/winter then it will clash with IAC. Myleene suggestion is purely based on the odds. The questions are given to the presenter so that shouldn't be an issue, but I don't think there will be many people who can command a crowd in the way that Davina did and none of the two I mentioned, or even Brian, will be able to do that.

Personally I'd like to see them pick someone worlds away from Davina and Big Brother, someone completely out of the box.

AJ. 02-04-2011 03:27 PM

Emma Willis 2.75 @ PaddyPower.

Brian has plenty of experience of handling large live audiences. However, we shall have to wait and see.

DigitalSid 02-04-2011 03:59 PM

Odd that the odds for Cheryl are shorter than for Suzi, I'd say Suzi was a much more likely choice (though I think Emma's got it in the bag).

dizzy bint 02-04-2011 08:02 PM

Emma and Brian are neck and neck at 6/4 and 7/4 respectively by Paddy Power now.

who says we can't have 2 hosts, australia did when they had their reboot

bananarama 02-04-2011 08:05 PM

Brian Dowling would ruin it. He and his silly mannerisms are as stale as rotting bread.....Emma has my vote.......

I actually think that's most likely, both doing it and maybe any spin off too. They get on really well together.
