Should this BB11 Feature return in Big Brother 12?

What do you think?

Should it return in a different form? Like in a more serious way?

Maybe WE could vote on an online poll on the C5 Website?
Or should it return with the same 'fun' S+R tasks like last summer, although tbh they got abit boring after a while.

I think they need to be taken more seriously, like instead of riding a scooter threw a river of cabbage dressed as a mouse, to win immunity.

It should be like proper Gladiators, perhaps a Joust Challenge where the two nominated HMs face eachother on two separate podiums, on the ground lies Cow Manure - the first housemate to knock the other off, wins Immunity and replaces themselves with another HM.

It should feel more like a challenge, not a day out at the park or School Fun Day.

I loved how the BB11 Housemates took it though, I mean Shabby, John, Mario, Govan, Caoimhe, Keeley etc took the S+R so seriously sometimes.

It's just Big Brother took the piss out of it.

So what do you reckon?

I'll never forget Mario being a spoilt little bastard in the bedroom after he got put up :joker:

No, we lost poor Keeley because of this stupid thing

bring it back, only bring back the HOH as well with the winner as HOH. That will ruffle a few feathers, ruling a house where everyone hates you :joker:

Just to up the stakes a little bit, as well as saving themselves from that eviction, they automatically get immunity from the next one too (as they'd be HOH at the time of nominations)

I like it.

Yeah H.O.H was brilliant, I loved how Darnell was the first person to call it 'HOH' rather than Head of House and it wasn't until recently, I figured out that was because he was American and probably knew that was how it was said :joker:

But yeah I like that idea, it could be fun and make them all really really competitive.

Oh and this has nothing to do with S+R but another way of deciding a new H.O.H would be to bring back Big Brother 5's 'Saturday Night Live Challenges'.

They were so good, I remember they had to literally fall into Thorns - not run up and down a half-pipe dressed as a Spider.

This.
They killed it completely.

Loved S&R it mixes it up a bit so hope it comes back.

Vicky. 07-04-2011 09:34 PM

Meh I liked it. If they had decent ideas for it it could be ok

The Tree of Temptation was genius in CBB7, but it was was sh!t in BB11. I'm trying to remember some of the tasks now, what were they? Tell some lies or something? What sort of a ****ing task was that? If they're going to bring it back, I expect really evil tasks, ones that are going to cause arguments, ones that'll make conversations between friends awkward. Stuff like that really. Like having to take a sh!t on people's clothes [maybe that's too far], making a pube sandwich and giving it to someone [maybe that's too far as well], or just having to cut someone's clothes up or something.

Plus the voice of the tree, if it does come back - will be different.
That'll seem strange.

Although, they could get Marcus Akin to do the tree's voice - they always sounded the same anyway.

no who ever is nominated should be up in my opinion. if you have s&r makes it more of a game showw and i dont like that

Jordan. 07-04-2011 11:06 PM

No, it was annoying towards the end cause it was always the twat who no one wanted to be safe winning it.

Beastie 08-04-2011 10:13 AM

The Tree of Temptation better not come back. The tree just showed how sh!t BB11 was.

Anyway Save and Replace.. yeah.

But before that and before nominations all the housemates must take part in a task. The one or 2 people that loses are automatically put up for eviction!

Then it will be nominations.. the 2 or more housemates with the most votes are up for eviction. However these people will have a chance to save themselves in a s+r task. If they win they swap their up for eviction place with another housemate!

Err yeah when Keeva kept winning the S+R task :yuk:

BBDodge 08-04-2011 12:01 PM

It ruined one series. That's enough.

Tree of Temptation was possibly one of the worst BB twists ever. It was awful and cringey. :bored:

Mac Hiavellian 08-04-2011 12:52 PM

I quite liked the save and replace tasks. It gave the HMs something else to do each week. Sometimes the best HMs were replaced, sometimes the right ones were put up. So yeah, bring it back! :)
And the bigger the better!

Mystic Mock 08-04-2011 01:26 PM

yes,and just like it was in 2010 because it got the bores up for eviction and out the door alot of the time.

BigBrotherfan4ever 08-04-2011 01:37 PM

I like the idea of the Tree Of Temptation coming back, but not save & replace, it was already for the first couple of weeks, but got really boring after a while..IMO.

karl100589 08-04-2011 02:24 PM

I'm OK with Save and Replace coming back, it spread the week out better and gave the housemates more to do, plus it put floater housemates which weren't in danger in the firing line, nobody was safe. Had Save and Replace not happened we wouldn't have got rid of Nathan as early as we did, hell, Nathan probably would have made the final.

penguinposse 08-04-2011 04:58 PM

I think they should bring it back. If it wasnt for save and replace we would'nt have gotten rid of monobrow Nathan so soon last year.
