When will C4 Remove this?

www.channel4.com/bigbrother

Surely now they don't own the show it will be removed?

Unless they can keep it because they own the rights to the past 21 series? (it is 21?)

I thought they would remove it by now..

_Seth 02-06-2011 10:47 AM

It makes me feel weird in a strange sickly way looking at that.

They should get rid.

Yeah they should get rid of it.

arista 02-06-2011 12:33 PM

No thats there production.
So they will keep it.
Its the history of the old one.

Judas 02-06-2011 12:37 PM

I would of assumed what arista said is correct, I can't think of a reason why they would need to remove it.

Patrick 02-06-2011 02:44 PM

What Arista said.

They'll keep it there for years, they can move it if they want - but I can't see them bothering with it.

That funeral, the RIP, and the headstone were all nutty. Channel 4 had no right to bury a TV concept which doesn't belong to them.

BB may have ended on C4, but it was still going on round the world. It wasn't ending.

And won't end for a very long time. C4 now have egg on their faces, stupid people.

MrFrost 02-06-2011 05:07 PM

How's it 21 exactly? 11 + 7 obv 18

MrFrost 02-06-2011 05:08 PM

Then carry the teen version plus adding the hijack

20

MrFrost 02-06-2011 05:09 PM

Now if were are adding UBB that makes 21 but....

If we are adding teen Big Bro, its onlyy. Fair to add Panto Big Bro.. Thus 22

Are you thick!?!

Jords 02-06-2011 05:14 PM

Endemol have a say in it too. It wasn't just channel 4 saying do this, do this and do that. It's a partnership.

And that comment about BB around the world is just stupid. Where the frig did it say they were burying the concept?

The concept is on nearly every channel anyway disguised with different names (I'm a Celeb, X Factor etc). It was the end of BB UK as we know it.

It's an entirely fresh era on channel 5. Whether it's any good obviously remains to be seen.

Sooner or later all the content will be removed so they might as well just take it down.

How do you know? Source?

CharlieO 03-06-2011 11:37 AM

Never, they will want to screw over channel 5 and people may mistakenly go to their site and they can then redirect them to a channel 4 show at the same time or something.

-wants channel 4 & 5 to play dirty-

Channel 4 said 'Big Brother IS DEAD'.

They didn't say Big Brother is dead on Channel 4. They said, IT was DEAD. Finished. Ended. And clearly is wasn't and isn't.

And yes, BB continues round the world. That is a fact. Channel 4 are complete idiots. Their stupid burial of BB was pathetic and summed up exactly what was wrong with the programme in the last few years.

Run by stupid people.
