Bit of a silly question but i always wondered..
What is the difference if you sprain your arm, fracture your arm, or break your arm? and which would the most painful
|
sprains are to do with muscles I think, whereas breaks are bones (obviously). Not really sure what's unique about fractures.
|
I've wondered this too. :blush2:
|
because i "fractured" my wrist last year, and it was the most painful thing ever, but i still don't watch actually happened to it and why it was different from a sprain or a break?

spain is just when you tear something i think
break is obviously break and i always just thought fracture was just a fancy word for break:joker: |
Sprain = just a muscular thing. According to Wikipedia, its and injury "..of joints that is caused by being stretched beyond their oversized capacity and possibly more."
Fracture = Crack in a bone. Break = Pretty self explanatory. |

I was told a fracture hurts more than a break. No idea why but it's apparently true. Having said that I fractured my arm in two places once and wasn't fussed in the slightest. Infact I only took myself to hospital for the attention :joker: They put me in plaster but I took it off about a fortnight later
|
well i fractured my wrist and the pain was unbearable!
