Hairy dogs!

I am getting so annoyed with my dog and the fact that she seems to just lose hair all of the time! The amount of lint rollers I've gone through since I got her is crazy! Anyone else have a dog that just won't seem to stop losing hair?

My dog casts all year round, it is so bloody annoying when I have stood and ironed all my clothes then leave the room and when I come back she has jumped up on the bed and lay on them making them all hairy :bawling:

I think she does it on purpose sometimes :suspect:

My Golden Labrador doesn't stop moulting, I can just take clumps of hair out of him

I dont have a dog but a carpet we have does the same thing, so annoying.

Our dogs are short hair (Rotty and Basset Hound) and weve just cut our cat's hair because of this reason

this reminds me of when my and my friend did this to her rabbit. we took too much out and he ended up with a bald spot.

This is the first year she's moulting.. it's a nightmare! It's setting my hayfever off (well making it even worse!)

I think there is big difference with dogs and carpet shedding hairs. spray carpet with hairspray keeps hair in place o naural and fibre hair. co piche.

Your dog is really gorgeous Marc.

Fortunately at home we have a short haired dog (a Staffie,he is also one of the most loving and gentle dogs there is too), so very few hairs at all to contend with.

Doogle 09-07-2011 05:45 PM

We hoover, 10 minutes later there's dog hair everywhere again. :bored:

Dad has a staffie and I've never seen it malt hair ever.

I love them, he doesnt really moult but there are a few fine hairs around sometimes. As with anything, even from Humans.

tmi 09-07-2011 05:55 PM

My avatar is my dog I also have ferrets Freddie Krueger and Smudge.
I have a budgie called Joey and he is the worst one he shed his feathers everywhere. I think it makes a difference if a dog has fur or hair to how much they moult.:conf:
