Songs you can play on repeat.

Do you have any that you can play, over and over, and not get tired of them?

Maia 12-09-2011 12:27 AM

Nope I can never listen to a song on repeat, it just feels weird listening to it all over again straight after it ended.

Kerry 12-09-2011 12:28 AM

Pretty much any song I like. Infact it's almost freaky how many times I will listen to a song over and over

InOne 12-09-2011 12:29 AM

Yeah I've got a few, like usually do it mostly when I'm drunk though. I have even listened to one song over like 2 months lol

Patrick 12-09-2011 12:29 AM

The Island by Pendulum, obviously.

Patrick 12-09-2011 12:30 AM

Oh and LMFAO - I'm In Miami Bitch.

Only I play the 'Essex' version of it on my iPod every morning, and when I get off the bus I just put it on repeat [because it's a short song] and walk to school listening to it.

Because I feel like a ******ing pimp.

Can usually only listen to them on repeat either when I hear them for the first time or when I haven't hear them for ages

Ninastar 12-09-2011 12:32 AM

i like this thread

my music taste is so diverse

Most of Britney's songs, I love repeating songs though. I have a habit of repeating songs hundreds of times if I really like the song.

Joelle. 12-09-2011 12:48 AM

I never repeat songs over and over because I just get bored of them really quickly.

GypsyGoth 12-09-2011 12:59 AM

Here's a few of the ones I do it with

I can only listen to a song on repeat if its new and I really like it or if I haven't listened to it for a while.

Dunno if the link is working/

Love the whole 'circus type' music ..... brilliant blasting during countryside drives!!

:)

there's 3 at the moment, that once I play them I will likely repeat them for a fair few times, Joy Division- Love will tear us apart, Petula Clark- Downtown (makes me feel both happy and sad because my Grandmother used to sing it to me),finally,Killers- Read my mind.

Also if I put Adele's 21 album on, I am likely to have that on a few times too.

This pretty much sums up my thoughts on the question.

MusicMan 12-09-2011 10:18 AM

Florence and the Machine - What the Water Gave Me
Beyonce - Countdown
A lot of Gaga songs

I don't usually listen to songs on repeat that much, but I do usually prefer to listen to a whole album the whole way through rather than one song

Serene, odd thing is: you hear of the phrase that people are moved to tears by some music..... this type of thing 'does that' with me. Have no idea why, it's almost the purity behind the sound.

(Yes, I confirm, I have finally flipped my lid and gone over the edge!):D

Simon Curtis - Flesh

It is a beautiful yet sombre piece of music that really sends me deep into thought.

On a completely absurdly disturbing view ..... I honestly think way back in my (obviously deranged mind), that it reminds me of Soylent Green. Saw it when I was a very young child, and I 'think' somewhere in the recesses of my memory that I must relate it to that type of serene, peaceful music that those dying were played - as their life came to an end. :bawling:

And on that very happy, positive uplifting note......

*books self in for some serious therapy* :D
