We need to praise channel 5
 

It's about time people got off channel 5's back and praised them for this years programme.

Let's remember the programme is still made by Endemol. It is they who decide what goes on on a day to day basis.

This years show in my opinion is the third best of all time. Yeah sure there are things I would like to improve but that has been the case every year. It is so refreshing this year to finally have a pretty normal group of housemates after several years of attempts to cast a bunch of extras from the Rocky Horrer Show.

The biggest issue that has to be addressed for next year is nominations and evictions. I would prefer it if no new housemates were ever brought in. Buy for that to happen we need a balanced house of girls and boys. Maybe they could put 8 girls and 6 boys in at start which may give it a chance to remain fairly even.

From the fans point of view a form of live feed needs to return. However, Channel 5 are right, watching them all sleep is boring. Maybe they should prerecord from 12 noon to 7pm and show that from 2am on 5*. Does anyone like that idea?

The series itself would have been exactly the same on C4 but probably with LF and better updates. :bored:

For the last couple of years live feed has just shown housemates sleeping which is dull. Also far too much cut sways and loss of sound. I think they should show something through thenight but it could just be edited highlights from the day but without Marcus B narrating and get them to last for 4 or 5 hours

Complete disregard for fans ie: Completely ignoring fan's questions on the Official FB page. Fans have asked for live feed, asked what really happened with Jay and the freezer, asked why Heavens comments regarding the freezer incident were removed from the vid, to name a few. Not once have they had the decency to reply to any questions asked, instead they have just deleted the questions and banned the poster. Nice way to treat your viewers CH5!

Refusing to release voting figures - Why? What have they got to hide?

That's just a few of the reasons I don't think CH5 should be praised in any way.

I think it's been a great series so far.

But obviously they can't please everyone :idc:

I have seen all of them and stick by what I said. Look at last year. Shabby the psycho lesbian, the Irish girl she fancied, pretty and dim black girl whose name I can't remember (effy??), monobrow Nathan. Very dull!!!

Year before Angel, Charlie, Lisa, David, siavash, the young Asian lad who fancied Norin!!

Just because 250 people ask for live feed dint mean they should put it on. They need a hundred thousand to even consider live feed.

I used to love the compilation DVD at the end of each series but it just didn't sell enough to make it worth releasing. I didn't moan and cry about it though. Come up with new ideas

I can claim that Angel Godess <3 was infinitely better than the Beautiful Bore Louise. Sree was incredibly annoying but had more about him than the invisble Tom and the Lisa/David trip to London gave me more jokes than Anton/Aden/Jay/Louise/Tom combined! Noirin plowing through the men was a huge talking point. Instead this year we have the vom inducing JayLou.

Last year was sh!t though, i'll give you that.

I suppose it's a bit like beauty in the eye of the beholder! I personally hated the year with Peter, nikki, grace et al but it is most people's favourite year.
Nothing will ever touch BB3 for me!

Makes me laugh how people have been singing its praises yet because a family members gone in, its now the worst show on tv. I started watching from BB7 and it is my second favourite yet. All hail channel 5 for bringing it back!

I'm making a general statement. It has to be cost effective and possibly isn't based on previous viewing figures just like with disappointing sales of the DVD's. A minority of people asking for LF will not persuade them to put it on and it is a minority as the majority don't care. I would like to see it back but I won't be contacting channel 5 to ask for it

Fair comment, but if you would like LF back as you said, you need to stand up and be counted. That way the minority becomes the majority.

We certainly need live feed. We cannot get to know the housemates in a 40 minute nightly programme. With so much repeated it is not even that. They can edit the way they want this way.
