What happened to Aarons 'dignity?

That he has been rattling on about from day one. Tonight showed a total lack of dignity from a man who has been held up, especially by himself, to be the epitome of dignity. I wouldn't have been surprised if Mark had did this (and it would have been funny, because that IS mark - or even Jay (though thrusting against men isn't his thing). But coming from a man that even a burp disturbs his sensibilities it doesn't make any sense. Is this the Aaron who is so reticent about sexual matters that he never once got hot with Faye in bed, and hasn't had sex for 7 years (well we know that is a lie already.)
He gets a little trophy for being 'most entertaining' and before you can say 'dignity' he is stark naked, thrusting himself obscenely at Tom and rubbing his balls into his neck. Yes, it was a game, but hitherto Aaron would have taken the high road, given that little arrogant shake of the head he is so fond of that means he doesn't approve of lesser mortals actions and said 'oh dear' in that old woman way. What a turnaround. What a complete and utter fake he is.
You could tell Faye was mortified. Poor girl. I think the light is beginning to dawn on her.

Was very surprised to see Aaron flaunt his flat, bare arse on my TV tonight - he's the last person in the house I would expect that from tbh... considering how the pompous twat seems to promote on a regular basis just how dignified a person he is.

Or (just to give the other point of view) he was joining in a game and was having fun.??

 Surely not.

This is Aaron we are talking about.

Everything he does must be twisted into the worst possible scenario.

vesavius 06-11-2011 01:31 AM

Aaron's 'dignity' is as conditional and situational as the rest of him.

Adopted and discarded as the game plan requires.

Fake rolling of the eyes one minute at the mention of a rude part, streaking through the garden naked the next.

He's a hypocrite... can't have it both ways. Easy cam time for him tho.

Who, Aaron? The one who never before let fun get in the way of his 'dignity'?
He was very quick to strip for TOM, the boy who had fancied him and had once accused Aaron of leading him on. Why on earth pick him? I am beginning to think that if he and Faye hadn't taken off, Tom would have been his victim for a showmance.

Aaron got naked and jumped in the pool in week 1

Locke. 06-11-2011 01:41 AM

Went down the toilet with his confidence after the first 2 nights

BBfan6418 06-11-2011 01:42 AM

From last nights show

Big Brother "Aaron if you dropped a few F bombs around them do you think that might encourage them to swear"

Aaron "Well I won't be doing that no. No task is worth me losing my self respect"

Funny where the line is drawn.

At least we are consistent

On the other side, Aaron is praised for having certain qualities - then when those prove not to be quite true, the goalposts shift....and shift...and shift once more to fit in with any behaviour he cares to display. I would rather be consistent than all over the place just to save face.

Ha! I was trying to remember that, but couldn't recall the exact words. Thanks!

Im not getting your point? are you seriously saying that the only way to prove he has dignity is to sit in a corner for the whole 9 weeks and refuse to join in any of the games?

The game they were playing wasn't a part of a task, and didn't involve swearing.

He has showered naked throughout the show, he isn't shy about his body, so whats the problem?

Are you talking about the dares game?

If so, it was part of a task. It was to win alcohol.

Spoiler:

It’s been a strange old day in the Big Brother House, newly Faye-less and contending with the money split decision earlier, the mood has been slightly wavering. Aaron has spent most of the day finding areas of the House to have a nap or a little moment alone. So it’s just about time Big Brother shook things up a bit, and what better way than with a daring Task…

Today’s Task will see the housemates playing a game of ‘pass the dare’.When the music starts Housemates must pass the parcel around the group in a clockwise direction.

When the music stops, the Housemate that has the parcel must open one layer of paper. Inside the first 6 layers of the parcel are dares that the Housemates must complete. The following 6 layers will contain a dare and a prize.

Housemates are not allowed to swap dares or ask other Housemates to compete the dare for them and all dares must be completed in order to receive alcohol this evening.

How far will the housemates dare to go? Stick with us to find out...

I read your point, you seem very upset that Aaron is joining in some fun and games in the house instead of rocking backwards and forwards in a corner sulking.

Heh. I saw your edit there :p

But theres really no point in this argument.

As if he had refused to do the task, he would be wrong. If he had done the task half heartedly, he would be wrong. And if he threw himself into it, did what the others said, and made them laugh a lot(like he did) he is still wrong :D

Videostar 06-11-2011 02:06 AM

Why does it frighten some people so much that there are those out there who dont like to swear, or talk about sex all the time, or be rude and nasty?

That is a sign of broken britain, in other countries an Aaron type of person wouldn't be hated or thought of as a fake for being this way, because those countries have manners and respect for others.

rk3388 06-11-2011 02:08 AM

to win alcohol is even worse- getting naked to win alcohol on national television. Oh yeah, he definitely still has his dignity
