Surprised Kanye didn't make the top ten artists of the year, with two albums selling well. Glad to see MBDTF is still doing numbers.

And grouping hip hop and RnB together is pretty ridiculous.

I like all the songs in the top 10 apart from the bottom 2. Don't really care much for BEP and I just don't like Moves Like Jagger.

Shes obviously more popular than Gaga there anyway:) By alot too, as her big fanbase bought it over a year ago with over 1million sales in the weak. Shes also a better writer plus singer. Such a shame:(

And yeah well she sold more, big deal, I'm happy for her, I'll let her finish etc. etc. but personally I find her stuff boring.

Kanye's 2010 album is outselling his 2011 album as well, it's a case of more time = more sales. Both artists are big enough that sales don't just fall flat after the first week.

And Lil Wayne's Tha Carter IV shows that sales aren't anything to go by.

Well Taylor is bigger than both Gaga & Kanye in the US, and our charts are quite bad, so lets accept Taylors more popular & therefore her music appeals to more people which makes it better:)

No let's not accept that, you can't say her music is better because it sells more. That will always be a matter of opinion.

So many unknown artists don't sell well, but does that make the likes of Professor Green, JLS and 1 Direction better than them purely because of sales? No. It's opinion.

I prefer GaGa to Taylor, and think her music is better, regardless of how well it sells.

Taylors album has been available for purchase for 12 months neither GaGa's nor Kanye's has, MM&I you are an idiot, case dismissed

Where'd you get that from? Hip-Hop/Rap is bigger in America than Country, even though Country is also big. On top of that, Kanye has been around for donkeys years, whereas Taylor hasn't.
