30 days of gaming - [DAY 4]
A copycat of ukturtle's music one. Part of the "get TiBB moving again" community initiative.
You know the score. And I'll keep the questions to myself. It'll make it more exciting and stuff. I'm aware that only about four people will stick to this but whatever. Gaming is still science and technologies greatest initiative. To hell with sick people. DAY ONE - YOUR FIRST GAME http://www.insert-disk.com/images/st...ame%20play.jpg Columns - Sega Megadrive. Whilst Sonic The Hedgehog was most probably my second game, this was the first one I booted up on that six game bad boy of a cart when I got my Megadrive about fourteen years ago. I had never and have never yet played Tetris or any other game of it's sort so this is my Tetris. Only it's all Roman and ****. Or Greek. Whichever. I became addicted to it and still give it the odd whirl on the PS3 via the majestic Sega Ultimate Collection. Nothing beats arranging blocks by colour as some ambient Roman music flirts away in the backround. Or Greek. Whichever. |

I got a N64 for Christmas when I was 6 and that was the first game I got, I was more into videos (Rosie and Jim, Barney) before then. |
I honestly can't remember what my first game was, other than it would have been for the Playstation 1.
I think it might have been a fighting game, but I can't remember the name. It was 2D, and you flew around the screen, throwing cards at each other, and it was probably awful considering I can't find any information about it. |
Now remember I am an oldie, and I dont mind if you laugh, but when I first played computer games it was on an Amstrad computer, the best game was Manic Miner, very tame to what we have now, but I spent many an enjoyable hour on it.

Day 1 First game you played - Bust a Move 2
http://www.romstation.fr/games/psx/cover/986.jpg I'm still a champ at this. |
I'm not a big gamer, but I do remember my first game it was Thunder Blade on the old commodore 64..

I remember playing this on N64 for hours. It was just great, remember always getting the super automatic gun that would basically let you be able to walk through the game killing everyone. Beat this game hundreds of times over, think there were only about eight levels. Amazing |

cant really remember mine but the first game i remember playing is thrill kill, i was about 8 and i played it on my cousins chipped ps1 i probably only remember it because it so disturbing it was a fighting game and you could play as a cannibal who beat people to death with somebody's leg he had chewed off, or some woman dressed up in a bondage suit and some crazy doctor with a scalpel no wonder im so damaged :suspect:
it does look amazing though :amazed: |
DAY 1:
Spoiler: Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back Hrm, so yeah I started with the sequel and not the original. This was actually released when I was about 5 months old but I was given a PlayStation 1 by a friend as he got a PS2 and because I was poor and was growing up with just one parent who struggled to pay bills. But yeah, for that reason I seem to worship this game. It's nothing spectacular, your average platformer. No tough difficulty like the original, no powers or time trials to go back for like the threequel, but even so this game just always has a special place in my heart. Everything is nostalgic, which is probably why I can play this game so many times and never get bored. |
Day 1: First ever game - Crash Bandicoot
http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedi...coot_Cover.png Ahhh this game. I remember how I used to sneak into my brother's room to play it on his PlayStation. It was such an awesome game. I love Crash. |
First Game: Mario Kart N64

Shining in the Darkness
http://static.gamesradar.com/images/...icle_image.jpg One of the most well known RPG series on the Mega Drive, Shining in the Darkness was the first "Shining" games, it was followed by the well know RPG/Strategy game, Shining Force. Shining in the Darkness had a simple premise, defeat the evil Darksol who was manipulating the events in the Kingdom of Thornwood, first capturing the Princess, and then your father. It's a dungeon crawler in the most traditional sense, it looks basic now, but I still love to play it. |
First game I ever played was Sonic Adventure on the Dreamcast.

I'm guessing we're doing least favourite game now? :suspect:
