Who remembers the 90's?

People who were 5/6 or younger around 1999 don't count as you can barely remember much, but for those who do remember this decade what were your favourite and least favourite things about it?

Didn't mean to make it an exclusive thing, but I figured most kids that age won't remember a great deal about the world in the nineties.

My lovely kiddywinks! and making brill friends, least favourite was being nieve and not trusting my instincts.

Even though I wasn't very old for the part of the 90s I experienced, I still have memories of it, and I enjoyed the whole atmosphere there was around that time.

The days of everyone buying CD singles

got to love the 90s

King Gizzard 10-03-2012 01:01 AM

Ermm school, I actually enjoyed most of my early education, get home, eat sweets while watching Nickolodeon, go to football training with my mates, have no responsibilities whatsoever.

My sister had all the smash hits stuff so regrettably i'm a bit of a late 90's pop nerd

Benjamin 10-03-2012 01:02 AM

Nickelodeon was amazing in the 90's! :amazed:

King Gizzard 10-03-2012 01:02 AM

There wasn't much change between late 90's and early 00's music/tv/film wise. When someone tells me a song and I think it's 90's it's probably actually early 00's..

MTVN 10-03-2012 01:04 AM

Ah yes the good old days, when men were men

I can never forget the trauma I went through when I got home and I found normal chips and not the Smiley Face Potatoes :(

Josy 10-03-2012 01:07 AM

Favourites - Going to raves :amazed: and the cartoons were amazing and people actually communicated face to face or used house phones rather than all this fb/bbm crap.

Least Favourite - Cant think of anything atm.

King Gizzard 10-03-2012 01:09 AM

we lived in a massive house with a massive garden and pond then as well. would hate to think how much it was worth now

loved childhood on the whole

It just feels weird now when you hear some of the younger members saying stuff like ''Teletubbies! memories! Bear In The Big blue house! memories!''..I was a teenager then

To me the 90s was wearing brandless clothing (or really awful brands like Fila and Le Coq Sportif), going to a playgroup (which was in an old church, and had a piano that I hogged like the little Elton John I was), playing Nintendo consoles and Arsenal being successful :(

Jessica. 10-03-2012 01:15 AM

Yeah I remember a lot of stuff about the 90's, I used to eat BN's and everyone had Gameboys and Furby's. :D I had a bowlcut in the 90's also. :bored:

Ramsay 10-03-2012 01:16 AM

Ha, my sisters had matching boy like bowl haircuts too. :joker:

I remember shell suits too, and the way they made that annoying sound every time you moved.
