It's all about the dressing. There is nothing better than a fresh salad with a lovely home made honey and dijon mustard dressing.

You're so right - the dressings do make all the difference. Not quite like the days when it was salad cream in this country and that was your whack.

Adding salt and vinegar into a salad really gives it so much taste, mmm:).

MMMM... not sure about the vinegar - my mouth is dribbling at the thought of that now. LOL :D

Well it depends really. Some salad is alright like at restaurants, but the ready made stuff from shops can be quite vile.

I Dnt really eat it because we don't really have salad at home. If I'm at a restaurant and I get it as part of my food then I'll eat it.

Any of the 'older' posters here - did you loathe veggies as a kid? I did - only tinned carrots and peas for me - now there are not a great amount that I don't love.

My brother ordered a curry the other day and there was some leftover salad from what the takeway gave with the order, although they put jalapenos in it:eek:. I had to pick them all out!:laugh2:
