Candyman

I loved this film. It still scares me.

Great film

Soundtrack is great, the second one was not bad either, third one was terrible.

Bollo 10-04-2012 05:18 PM

I could never look in the mirror and say Candyman 5 times without chickening out

Mrluvaluva 10-04-2012 05:46 PM

"has never looked at bees and honey in the same light since"

Marc 10-04-2012 05:47 PM

Done it once and heard a bang up stairs...I was the only person in the house

Marc 10-04-2012 05:50 PM

 I remember my parents watching this with family friends and they all started to do the mirror thing

Ha ha Marc we are a couple of yellow bellies

Marc 10-04-2012 06:04 PM

 I always think about what I would do in scary situations in films. Usually it's barricade the door and jump out my window

DrunkerThanMoses 10-04-2012 06:06 PM

I just left as I was at my nans house feeding her cat when she was away on holiday, I watched the movie before I went.

It was strange but I dont believe that stuff, was kinda tempted to go upstairs but I thought I would hear the piano music and then when running out the door a hook would stab me in the back

:laugh2: I would hide in my wardrobe which is a big no-no 'cos everybody knows that's where 'they' always look first. Or there would be a Bollo shaped hole in the wall

I have this ledge outside my window, which is my kitchen ceiling, so I know what I would do  Oh I'm very sad haha

Mrluvaluva 10-04-2012 06:25 PM

Sounds like you have got your whole escape route mapped out Marc in case of any such event.

Bollo 10-04-2012 06:30 PM

Yeah but what do you do once you're on the ledge? Then you're stuck and they'll get you...or do you jump into a bush and hope you don't break your legs...

DrunkerThanMoses 10-04-2012 06:38 PM

I never get why if a serial killer is in the house why do the girls never run outside in these horror films?

I think in one film I saw three girls were in a house with a killer and they ran outside but ran back in because it was raining and they didn't want to the get wet.... so they rather be killed then wet? Idiot bitches

Logic would never do in a horror movie. :nono: Hiding in wardrobes/closets is the done thing, waiting for the intended victim to be found. Then the obligatory hands punched through and the victim grabbed (only to escape). Then the subsequent chase followed by the tense scene where the shower curtain is mysteriously pulled closed.

Ammi 10-04-2012 07:35 PM

Benjamin 11-04-2012 12:25 AM

Jords 11-04-2012 12:40 AM

Had a massive saga about this at primary school :joker:
We all made up bull**** stories about what happened when we did it alone in the school toilets, LOL.
