What's your biggest fear?

Multi choice poll coming up for those who have more than one. I've included the most common ones.

Mine is heights, scurd. Can't even climb a ladder without getting panicky.

I think my answer is pretty obvious given the thread I just started.... heights is my most likely my worst ever.

Kate! 02-05-2012 10:18 AM

Yes it was your thread that inspired this one Pyra. I too am scared of heights.

Samuel. 02-05-2012 10:25 AM

Most definitely spiders.

Used to hate heights too, but I sort of like the thrill of them now.

Kate! 02-05-2012 10:34 AM

I really want to overcome my fear of heights too, one thing I'd love to do is abseiling, the adrenaline would be amazing. I can't go on the more exciting fairground rides either.

I've paraglided: and I swear to god.... I was half cut when I did it and it was one of theeeeeeeeeeee most surprising things in the world: when you are 'up there'... the world is a completely silent peaceful place. It doesn't have the same 'vertigo' feeling as the 'walking on glass heights' thing does.

I'd do it again in a heartbeat - it really is hard to describe - I thought I'd be crapping myself - but it truly is unbelieveable an experience.

Not one thing wrong with a bit of inspiration at all, if anything, brings a little life to the forum and that can never be a bad thing either way. Better that than nothing happening!

what if your in a small box in the dark with snakes spiders suspended from a rope over a massive cliff where you could die at any moment and drop into a river filled with sharks.

Not scared of any of the things on that list...or any conventional things either

My only phobia is vomit. Either me being sick or other people being sick near me.

I know D:

I hadnt actually been sick in around 6 years or so until I got pregnant. But luckily I have only actually been sick once. But I will be constantly covered in puke when the babys born...baby sick doesnt bother me as much though because its just milk but when it grows up a bit and starts eating properly...I think will be having breakdowns on a regular basis ;laugh:

Oh actually I dont like earwigs either,. though I wouldnt say it was a phobia as such.

This is only because when I was very young, someone told me they crawl in your ears and eat your brain, and its stuck in my head ever since :bored:
