Have you ever had a mouse or mice in your house?

Well? Yes or no?

Niall 05-05-2012 06:12 PM

Twice. Once when I was about 5 and again when I was around 8. We put poison down both times and I haven't seen them since.

Mrluvaluva 05-05-2012 06:13 PM

I had a field mouse once in my house many years ago. Put mouse traps down but never caught it. Must have got out somehow.

Doogle 05-05-2012 06:13 PM

There's one here atm but we can't be bothered to catch it cos it's too sneaky.

GypsyGoth 05-05-2012 06:13 PM

Not mice, we had rats

Nope, live on the top floor of a flat so its pretty unlikely.

Firewire 05-05-2012 06:17 PM

Yes, our "crisp cupboard" has mice that seem to come and go because the crisps were getting eaten. We had to move them.

In my old house because we lived right next to a farmers field.

One of them ate a hole in the kitchen wall. I've never been more terrified of a creature.

MTVN 05-05-2012 06:18 PM

Yeah cats bring em in sometimes, we had a family of them living behind our washing machine for a while

Pyramid* 05-05-2012 06:20 PM

Yep - both the alive hiding somewhere under the floorboards type - which Molly earned her keep with - as well as the dead type.

Molly is a great mouser. :D

Josy 05-05-2012 06:21 PM

Yes. In a cage

I wouldn't know what to do if I had mice or rats in my house. Ew at the thought

You could get a cat!

daniel-lewis-1985 05-05-2012 06:25 PM

I live in an old pub which have mice. Some are actually pretty cute but some are fat little ****ers. I wouldnt harm a fly though let alone a mouse so just put up with them/

Since the people downstairs got a cat they have seemed to have migrated up to the top floor.

Redway 05-05-2012 06:25 PM

I do get quite a few rats in my garden from time to time, but that's it. Can't stand the things.

I have 2 cunning cats and any mice around would be sorted out. We have never had a mice invasion.

She would, she has also caught frogs and small birds before. Harry cat has caught mice, frogs and live fish before.
