Your thoughts on a guy using fake tan?
 

Ok, here's a funny one for you. I just wondered what people's opinions are on fake tan, and in particular, a guy using fake tan. I'm a straight guy here (not being stereotypical or anything) and have just started using a little bit of fake tan. I feel alot better for it and defiantely alot more confident. But I was curious to know what other people think.

Definately not using it to the point of orange-ness but people have noticed and said I look 'tanned' which is obviously the effect I wanted. But there seems to be a stigma attached to it and in particular, a guy using it.

I hate fake tan full stop (guy, girl or alien). But if you're using it "normally" and not making yourself look abnormally orange then I don't see any harm.

Well they shouldn't, they should be rough, guff and handsome. They should spend less time groooming themselves and more time wrestling bears.

Find it abit of a turn off, like most girls are either doing it wrong or something is wrong with fake tan. I personally wouldnt wear fake tan, I dont know any guy that does either

nothing wrong with it, if its good enough for peter andre its good enough for any guy and if it makes you feel good and look a little better then why not?

I don't really go for men who spend more time in front of a mirror than I do.

I use fake tan fairly regularly (bronzer at the moment actually). Who cares what other people think, if you feel better for it that's all that matters. I certainly prefer looking ever so slightly tanned (I rarely even go that far) than my normal ill pale look.

There's a misconception that everybody who uses it ends up looking orange. If you're using it right people shouldn't even be able to tell.

Can't be bothered typing it all again, but in brief - don't comply with or be led into believing stereotypes. They're pointless generalisations with no merit.

All you have to ask is, who came up with this unwritten rule that men can't wear fake tan?
