Katie Price thinks Simon Cowell should have picked her as X Factor Judge

Katie Price, has said that she thinks Simon Cowell should have picked her to be the 4th X Factor judge, instead of Geri Halliwell, who she then went on to describe as a 'has been'

Mrluvaluva 27-05-2012 03:03 PM

What attributes does Katie Price have? :suspect:

InOne 27-05-2012 03:07 PM

Should of? :suspect:

Pyramid* 27-05-2012 03:14 PM

I can state that there is no way in this world that Simon Cowell would have said

" I should of"

The word you are looking for is... HAVE.

Andrew. 27-05-2012 03:24 PM

ooh yes, sorry :P should HAVE

i dont know how to edit the title :/

Black Dagger 27-05-2012 03:25 PM

Advanced edit function.

While you are there, maybe add in some punctuation, capital letters and the odd apostrophe here and there.... just if you're doing it of course.

Team pricey!

TBF...... despite her lack of supposed redeeming qualites or attributes.... she's worth a few million.... that really does say much.

She knows how to make money - regardless.

Not daft - but I still can't abide her all the same - credit though where it's due: she'll sell her soul to make a million - and she'll be in a position to retire a lot earlier than Simon was ever able to.

;)

Kizzy 27-05-2012 03:33 PM

She had that leech andre sucking off her too the greasy fool, cannot stand that bloke!

Just a smidgen contradictory there.....

You do what you like - your posts and all that.

Cowell /KP still didn't say what you claimed though. :joker:

Hmmm... which is better, a "has-been" or a "never-been"?....

Marc 27-05-2012 09:59 PM

LOL Katie Price has no talent and knows nothing about talent

Harry! 27-05-2012 10:04 PM

Geri Halliwell is amazing and should be the judge. Katie Price has 0 talent.

And LOL I use should of instead of should have. Very southern thing.

Should of vs. should have

Quote:

I have a couple of well-educated ex-colleagues who shall remain nameless who, in the written form, have started using the phrase should of, in the following context:

Quote:

Mum should of gone to Iceland.
I must stress that this is not the actual phrase they used. They used more business-like phrases. But you get the picture.

Speech has always influenced the development of written language. But the world we now live in is made up of people whose English education is often, at best, questionable—people who, even if educated appropriately to suspect a mistake, have neither the time nor the inclination to search for the truth. This means that mistakes like that above will become increasingly prevalent with time, which is a shame.

The correct construct is:

Quote:

Mum should have gone to Iceland.

Sign of the times ..... English speakers are poorly educated or just lazy ..... :hmph:

And what exactly does Katie Price know about singing? I would find it offensive to be judged by her. Geri might be a has been but she was at one point part of one the most successful groups in the world

Has been for sure: ..... you know, a has been with milliions of good old UK £s in her bank and wrapped up all all sorts of iinvestments and ventures.

Marc: she certainly does have a talent - regardless of how quantifiable or regardless of the supposedly 'quality' of it (I use the term 'quality' very very loosely)..... but she is able to make far more money than many other glamour models out there after so long - and a damn sight more money than any of us could ever dream of. That's a rare talent! :D

I cannot abide her, but she does know how to how to continue to rake in the milliions - even it is selling her soul and her entire life.

Excellent point (and probably Cowell's thoughts too!) - and same for the rest of your post.

If it wasn't for Gerry and her tenacity: the Spice Girls may never have reached the heights they did when Gerry persuaded them to dump (Fuller?) their previous manager. They went from strength to strenght after that.

the woman might not have an instant likeable factor - but she knows how to push success in the singing/band world, no denying that.

Doesn't give her any kind of status or actual achievement, hence my "never-been" comment.

Ha! This ^^ Had me in stitches for a few minutes:spin2:

I don't particularly dislike the woman, but don't go out my way to watch or have interest in anything she does. Regardless of who or what she is, she still makes more money than I could ever dream of :(

Anyway, on topic. I wouldn't say she has any talent musically, so can't understand why she'd be so upset at not being chosen as a judge. Geri Halliwell, I can however, see why she would be chosen.

Oh I can understand why you and many have that thought - I've often had it myself about her!

She was incredibly pretty though when she first started out in the old page 3 business - with a lovely natural body etc - when she was 16/17 or so. I won't and cannot take that away from her. She was. imo anyway (of course!)

As I say though: whatever we all (mostly) regard her as - she has been successful - as her bank balance shows.

but hey: that's the way with many 'talentless' folk out there... the down side of it is: I cannot help but feel that as far as KP goes, she is incredibly rich (financially) but is so poor in so many other ways that money just can't buy.
