A repeat of aarons win on the cards (SPOILER)

Allowing hm,s to discuss noms will allow someone like dull as dishwater Aaron of last year to win again. Lauren and Ben are up because of the girl power in house vote and it is ruining the series once again. Why ythe hell have they changed a perfectly good system. Its not so much the discussions that ruin it. It is the fact that their days are cinsummed with secret tittle tattle and alliances instead of driving them all insane with wondering or being punished for discussing noms.

CH5 are pure amatures and this year could prove to be a great year. Sad day for BB when they opened noms for discussions.

InOne 18-06-2012 05:02 PM

It definitely does seem like it's going to be a very controlled house :( I guess the power struggle could be good though.

Last years Aaron was not as dull as dishwater in my opinion, and it isn't the fact of discussing noms that effects the public votes outcome, it is that that housemate, ie: Aaron in that BB was the most popular and liked housemate with the public. he won and like him or not that should be accepted. I quite dislike Denise Welch, but accept nevertheless she was the CBB winner last year.

sampvt 18-06-2012 05:09 PM

By letting them discuss the noms, it allows the gameplanners to run the show, just like last year. Its killing the show. Does anyone think the prods will change theor minds and ban the discussions.

Beastie 18-06-2012 05:10 PM

Depends who goes. Benedict.. yes he seems interesting and that but he's so serious. Hopefully he will go.

Mystic Mock 18-06-2012 05:12 PM

Im liking the nomination talk as you are actually getting the chance of two bores facing each other like this week.

Lets celebrate I say.

Vanessa 18-06-2012 05:13 PM

Nomination talk makes the show look more like a game. I love it! Arron to win!

Just in case you dont watch tv or read newspapers, Aaron has spent the last year sticking his finger up BB backside by bragging about how he manipulated the result and how his mates drove the internet campaign by suggestive inferance on sites like this.

Aaron has had his day and still has his supporters but this year its about different people which we dont want to loose through allowing discussions to take the shine off things.

Can a mod put up a poll on who thinks noms should or shouldnt be discussed or has one already been done.

No I don't think there's a poll on it.

Just go to the top left corner of the Big Brother 13 folder and click on new thread, then go down the page and say you want a poll and how many options on the poll.

I hope what i've typed makes sense lol.

And just incase you don't look on the internet Aaron has severed all ties with Big Brother after they way they treated him & tried to stitch him up, that is why he has slagged them off, not because he is boastful at having manipulated the show...

Novo 18-06-2012 05:31 PM

Good.. if someone like Aaron wins then it will be another success

armand.kay 18-06-2012 05:51 PM

I'm starting to hate nomination talk.

I detect a slight patronising tone towards me in your post. Whether I watch TV or read news items is neither here not there, as I was commenting on Aaron in the BB house, not what he does out of it, that is his business and no concern of mine. I supported Aaron last year halfway through the show and voted some for him. I never intended getting involved in that BB but noticed a lot of uneccesary nastiness towards him imho on forums and in the media and shows like BBs BOTS. I won't comment on this years BB at all as I have given up on it completely now and just read some posts here as I like posters wit about BB. However as I did take an interest halfway through last years show and voted some I feel I am justified in commenting/giving my views without the need to know what Aaron does in his own time. If he did manipulate during the show however, then good for him for playing the game, because he never did it nastily as some housemates tend to do.

Its designed so BB can fix their winner. If producers have an inkling who is going to be nommed they can adjust HL show ie stitch up
the HM they want out.

i agree

arsenalforever 18-06-2012 06:39 PM

My probelm with them talking about noms is thats all they do 24/7 sadly. Its becoming very very boring.

Niamh. 18-06-2012 06:44 PM

Unfortunately there's no one as good as Aaron in it this year

Samuel. 18-06-2012 06:44 PM

We can only dream of another Aaron.

sampvt 18-06-2012 06:46 PM

They spend all day long paranoid about who is noming who, they forget to be fools and entertain us. The show is a reality adventure not a voting ballot. Those who win nowadays simply knew how to avoid noms and at the same time manipulated them. Thats not what the show is all about.

Marc 18-06-2012 06:47 PM

Spoiler :nono:

True. The whole point of Big Brother (the very meaning of it) is manipulation.

Manipulation of the housemates an manipulation of the viewers.

I was pleased last year when BB split the prize money. No one housemate deserved 100K.

This year is going to be a bitchfest because the males are unable to be as unpleasant as the females. Scott is in a league of his own for his comments.

This is the thirteenth BB and each one has been entirely different and I hope that BB will throw in some immunity for some housemates to spoil the various plans of the housemates.

daniel-lewis-1985 18-06-2012 07:39 PM

Aaron wasnt dull.

He was a prick and a drama queen yes but was a brilliant housemate.

joeysteele 18-06-2012 07:52 PM

What allowed Aaron to win last year was the fact the other housemates like some of the viewers too couldn't see that Aaron was in the eyes of the voting public a really great housemate and far from being dull as dishwater.

So he was up loads for eviction votes from the first week almost, everytime topping the votes cast by the public and trouncing all opposition up against him, right from the start, every vote he was involved in and finally winning the final itself too.

The people's choice he was and he walked it al the way, never with an easy ride from the other housemates though.

Hoewever,I do detest the talking about nominations and while I doubt talking about nominations will see someone win the way Aaron did so convincingly all through last year,I do think it will eventually be seen to have spoiled this series,it will for me anyway.
