Books, Magazines or Newspapers?

Which of these do you like to read? I prefer the last two as books do not capitvate my attention enough and I would get bored as most are too long...

Black Dagger 13-09-2012 11:06 PM

I love finding a good book <3. Like it's one of my hobbies.

I love reading the Metro on the way to College

And I love Attitude magazine.

Josy 13-09-2012 11:08 PM

Books

GypsyGoth 13-09-2012 11:10 PM

Books, and I download comics sometimes and read them.

Princess 13-09-2012 11:17 PM

Books definitely. Though I do read magazines, but I could live without them if I had to, I couldn't live without books. I never read newspapers really, get all my news online.

Niamh. 14-09-2012 09:21 AM

Books, I read magazines the odd time and rarely a newspaper but I love a good book

Livia 14-09-2012 09:21 AM

I have to read newspapers for work, and magazines sometimes too... but I choose to read books.

Kizzy 14-09-2012 09:37 AM

I read the news, not keen on mags though, they are either full of adverts or stories about incest and other such depressive tales.
I like books but struggle with novels, funny you should start this thread was going to ask if anyone could recommend a mag for a 15yr old lad? theres loads for girls but none for his age, nuts and zoo are out of the quetion btw :)

MTVN 14-09-2012 10:14 AM

I read books, always got one on the go. The supermarkets have good offers on the bestselkers list usually and charity shops are great, I read them and then take them back so they can make money on them again. Very rarely buy magazines and newspapers as its all available online. Might do for a train journey occasionally.

Kizzy, there isn't a general all round one for that age group that I know of, but depending on his tastes, there's a few possibles, gaming mags, footie team specials etc.

Jake. 14-09-2012 11:18 AM

Newspapers

I am honoured, Shaun:D.

Newspapers.
I don't mind books but I wish I was still into them like I was when I was younger

Roy Mars III 14-09-2012 05:31 PM

Books. I like to read one a week at least. Used to be able to get through two or three before college and work made my life much busier

Well i'm 15 and I enjoy reading my mums fashion magazines. Vogue and Elle are favourites of mine  but i'm a weird one so I recommend you just go to WhSmiths, they have lots of men's magazines (not the sleezy ones) i'm sure you'll find something.

Lee. 14-09-2012 08:26 PM

I don't read newspapers anymore as I use the internet for news , I hate all magazines apart from FHM and Loaded, but I love books! I don't understand how people can't enjoy reading.

Gillian-73 15-09-2012 09:07 AM

Books. I love books and have got hundreds, i've loved reading books from a young age. I tend not to read newspapers anymore and magazines now and again.

Callum 17-09-2012 10:37 AM

Books, for sure. Rarely read magazines or newspapers.

lostalex 17-09-2012 11:49 AM

I prefer books out of that list, but the internet is a million times better than all of them. Almost all of my reading is done online. Constant updating.

Reading a newspaper is literally reading yesterday's news. Online is always current.

Thanks armand will do, he is not into fashion, I wish he was! then he might change his socks more than once a week :D

HBB1508 17-09-2012 02:26 PM

Books - I only get a newspaper now for the crossword as news on line is more up to date and magazines don't really interest me any more.

fruit_cake 17-09-2012 03:36 PM

Newspapers, I've never been much of a 'reader'. My mind tends to wander elsewhere in the middle of the page.
