Sad, especially when breeding them is so incredibly difficult - perhaps they simply aren't meant to exist in captivity (though they don't breed well in natural habitat either).

Still sad though, they are gorgeous creatures.

Over 90% of all Species that have ever existed on this planet are now extinct. I think Pandas are trying to increase this percentage sadly...!!!

I wonder how many of those we could have 'saved' had we been nicer more caring people,shame to think we've had a hand in some of them disappearing.

it's actually 99% of all species that are extinct, and almost all of them went extinct before human beings ever existed.
