Bandwagon hate
 

There seems to be a lot of it recently, hating on stuff just cause everyone else is, what do you notice people seem to hate for no reason for example

1D - Im not even a fan, but they've got some catchy songs and yeah, they're overrated as hell but they do get a lot of undeserved hate :shrug:

New Simpsons eps, yes there are a lot more dud episodes now but there's still quite a few good ones

Simon Cowell shows too, why do people always want him to fail and for BGT/XF to do terribly in the ratings idgi

I used to like Gaga (first few songs; first album was great) but I hate her now because she's just strange. If she was a fun relatable normal person I wouldn't dislike her.

Big Brother hate seems to be one, I'm with the whole 'if you don't like it, just don't watch thing'.

Yes it's a source of contant amusment to me I mean why hate on anyone who is doing well,infact why,hate on anyone.

the Simon Cowell hate is justified IMO. His shows are very manipulative, its about time there was a backlash.

The British love to build people up and then see them fall.

people want Simon Cowell shows to fail because he's an exploitative soulless tycoon who has about as much place in music as a styrofoam cup. He's responsible for the embarrassment and mental breakdowns of hundreds of people, and encourages a society of public shaming and hatred of anything 'weird'. Gaga is hardly hated on compared to others. Justin Bieber is one of the worst. It's one thing to hate his music, but the way some really hate and wish ill on a teenager is worrying.

All true apart from this one, it does kill the music industry for the sake of 'entertainment'

I don't get the bandwagon hate for Coldplay though.. It seems to have become really "uncool" to like them, which is odd seeing as they're ****ing awesome!

Coldplay is the big one, yes. Not the best band in the world, nor have they ever been, but very good overall (sadly most of it's in the past).

He said rape happens for a reason. When asked to try out veganism, he made a big show of gagging on and spitting out a vegan steak that had been ordered for him. When he visited Anne Franks house, he wrote in the guest book that he hoped “she would have been a belieber”. He’s a spoiled little brat.

I can't stand Bieber, because he comes across as a genuine ****. Would never wish death on the kid, but he's an arse.

We wern't there this could all be hearsay we never really know a person unless we know them personally,we just go on what we hear and read,I like to give people the benefit of the doubt untill I find out otherwise.

I think sometimes people hate on someone because they think it's 'hip and cool' to do so ,or they dont like to admit they like someone for fear of getting chastised by their 'friends'

No, it's not all hearsay at all, he said it all in interviews/on tv/wrote it in a book that millions of people will see when they go to anne franks house
