Are you fussy when it comes to food?

Food threads yay <3.

Basically over the past few months I've realised my food pallet has probably got exceedingly worse over the years. I don't eat food much at all, I don't particularly like eating food, it's just something I do, I rarely get excited for the thought of eating (unless it's like a chicken curry) and I barely eat dinner anymore, I legit have pizza or cheese and beans on toast like twice a week and that is that...

I'm probably the fussiest eater on here, but are you fussy, or will you taste new things and have varied meals throughout the week?

Jake. 22-05-2013 08:09 PM

Furthest from it, I'll each pretty much anything

Black Dagger 22-05-2013 08:09 PM

Yeah I probably realise that, that sounds really unhealty and I should do something, but urgh, eating nono. I'd rather just get away with drinking tea all day.

GiRTh 22-05-2013 08:09 PM

No not at all. Fussy eaters irritate me.

Niamh. 22-05-2013 08:10 PM

I love food

Ryan57 22-05-2013 08:10 PM

Fussy in terms of the food has to be from certain places. Aldi's fruit is woeful. Tesco's destroys it.

Pasta is, well, pasta. Get it from Tesco but doesn't really matter. Whereas fish, prefer Aldi's balsa fish to Tesco's paltry offering in that category.

Yeah, fussy. xD.

I'm not fussy but I have a very limited range of foods I eat, that's more down to my culinary ignorance and laziness though

Vanessa 22-05-2013 08:12 PM

I love my food. Especially pizza. :amazed:

Ramsay 22-05-2013 08:18 PM

I used to be...but then i started shmoking the mary jane and now im fat as **** :bored:

Shaun 22-05-2013 08:19 PM

I used to be as a teenager, but since I came to uni and started eating out with friends (notice the 'with' in that sentence, deviants :idc:) I've sort-of realised it's annoying and a bit silly.

That said, there are some tastes I still hate - mushrooms, strong garlic (I hate garlic bread, but don't mind garlic used in sauces or something where it's not the main flavour), cherries...

Smithy 22-05-2013 08:20 PM

Nah not really, there's only a few things I dont like

Black Dagger 22-05-2013 08:20 PM

I'd love to enjoy lots of food though, my family have so much variety, they'll make chilli and hot-pots and stuff, and I'm all like 'can I have a chicken kiev or a burger plz?'

Vicky. 22-05-2013 08:21 PM

I am extremely fussy. I wont even try something if I dont like the look/smell of it

Headie 22-05-2013 08:27 PM

I am very fussy. Ill probably try like 2 new foods per year and if I don't like it then it takes me like a whole 6 months to even agree to try something new.

Marcus. 22-05-2013 08:35 PM

no i am not

Livia 22-05-2013 08:52 PM

I'm not particularly fussy, but there are things I won't try because I don't like the thought of them. And I don't like anything fishy. Except crab sticks... and they're not really fish anyway.

LemonJam 22-05-2013 08:58 PM

Other than not eating meat I eat everything.

GypsyGoth 22-05-2013 09:03 PM

I don't think there is anything I wouldn't try, however I do tend to avoid unhealthy stuff, but yea I am quite adventurous when it comes to food.

Ninastar 22-05-2013 09:41 PM

yes i am

Kizzy 22-05-2013 10:21 PM

I'm fussier than ever now, I fast two days a week and try to eat as healthy as poss through the week, then I can enjoy myself with choccie and crisps at the weekend :D

Other than trying to eat as little in the way of meat as I can, no I am not fussy.

If out with others or a guest at someone elses home whatever, I always just eat what is being prepared even meat then too.

Z 22-05-2013 10:28 PM

I'll eat pretty much anything. My brother used to have a friend who was so fussy he wouldn't eat meals if any of the separate foods were touching, so having a sauce with pasta or a steak or something was out of the question. He would have to eat each food separately, he hated condiments etc... very odd. I don't know anything about the guy now, I don't know if he maybe had some kind of OCD, but it was really weird...

There was a film I watched where a guy with ocd did stuff like that with his food.

Josy 22-05-2013 10:50 PM

I am really fussy.
