Which do you prefer more? - Normal BB or CBB?
 

Which Big Brother UK series do you prefer more - Normal BB with civilians as HM or Celebrity BB with celebrities as HM (or zelebrities)

If you would be the deciding factor/could make the decision (ie: executive producer of BB), which one would you axe/end/cancel?

Or do you prefer both and would want to save/keep them both intact and renew them?

Or would you want both of them to be cancelled? If so, why?

I prefer normal BB, but I wouldn't want to see CBB axed, just reduced. One series a year is fine, in January.

I prefer normal BB, although for a while the lines between them became pretty blurred.

I've skipped 2 of the last 3 CBBs,

I do like both but with CBB you have some idea of the type of characters most of the housemates are,by being celebrities and having knowledge of some of their careers.
The normal BB opens up having to learn as much about the characters without any prior knowledge of them so that makes that far more interesting.

Wouldn't really like either to finish.

I definitely prefer the normal series.

I prefer the normal series because we don't know them, so they don't hold back.

However, I wouldn't like CBB to be axed. Maybe get rid of the summer one. Keep it like it was before. BB in the summer, CBB in the winter. There is no need for a 2nd CBB after the regular series.

I'll let you know after this series.... I used to not even watch the celebrity series in the channel 4 days - since then obviously I've watched them all but these days te celeb series seem to be just better than the normal series. Seriously hoping BB14 changes this.

CBB because it's much faster paced. There's a new task every day, there are multiple evictions per week, and it has bigger characters/personalities since celebs tend to have bigger egos created more conflict.

I like the regular series as well, but it does start to really drag on for the last 3 or 4 weeks and can be tedious sometimes.

I prefer both. They both bring something different to the table.

I prefer the normal BB but wouldn't want CBB to go.

..definitely the normal BB..it's much better to have no preconceptions of housemates and also the fact that many of them have nothing in common, but you see them bonding and friendships grow...I haven't enjoyed the last few so much though because it's felt as though BB are more encouraging conflicts than friendships and that's ok sometimes but not constantly...

The Celebrity series seems to be something that C5 does well... The regular series is crap in comparison... Traditionally CBB was just a bit of fun and something to tied me over until the summer but now it just seems to drag on and it becomes very tedious... After 2-3 weeks the HM's all seem to hate each other and the constant bitching and fighting becomes too much... The Celebrity series is short, sweet, and over before the nastiness sets in... All that being said I really don't see a point in have two series per year...

10 weeks for the regular series is more than enough... If they must do 3 series a year I'd almost rather they take a month break and do something like another Teen BB, UBB, or something else that is completely different with "regular" people...

Axe the summer CBB tbh. Pathetic it's even a thing.

I prefer normal BB. Only due to the fact people are a bit more 'real' and tend not to care as much. Celebs know it's their future on the line so control themselves in some respects. I prefer the more 'out of control' and real normal BB series.

I wouldn't want CBB to go though, but it really does need to be cut down to one series a year. Two is just becoming overkill.

I enjoy both shows for various reasons.

The summer BB can be hilarious by how far some of the housemates will go to stay in the show, or get their 15 minutes of fame, I also like the longevity about the show too as you get to learn much more about them over the weeks.

What I enjoy about the celeb version is the tasks, seeing them dressed in the most hilarious costumes and again, with some of them, the desperation at trying to come across as a likeable person, but end up making a total tit of themselves.


I also love it when a celeb has a breaking point and then all hell is let loose.

Last year, I thought I liked CBB more, as 9-10 were much more entertaining than BB13.

But then CBB11 was poo, so I'm back to not really knowing.

I haven't watched the last 2 Cbb fully and it's really made me feel a bit detached from bb, I'm not as passionate about the show as I was before it's really weird ://

BB for a long time and then CBB because the main show became tedious and crap.

C5 are better at CBB, I wouldn't want it axed just reduced to one per year.
