It's up to the BB audience not to ruin BB14

Every year we seem to blow it. We vote out the most interesting Housemates early leaving us with the least interesting i.e bores. For the good of the show we need to keep them in. For this to be at least C5 best BB they need to keep it interesting to the final week.

I always feel the voting audience has ruined most BB's since BB6.

What do you guys think?

rk3388 02-06-2013 09:52 PM

Thats true but the vote to save has been useful in certain situations ie lydia saved bb13, speidi saved, deana saved, K and K saved etc

*mazedsalv** 02-06-2013 09:58 PM

To be honest, we did well for BB13 to save good house mates, and obviously CBB11.

I haven't personally liked any of the BB's on C5 as of yet. But the Vote to save might help if we get at least 12 great hm's this year.

The thing is 95% of the people on here who are true fans don't even pick up the phone to vote yet then feel they have a right to complain when their fav goes.

Its only something like £1 a week so get behind the entertainment and vote this year!

It is our show afterall.

It's the teenage girl vote that ruins things

I stopped voting after BB 2008. Sucks that all the good character get kicked out at the start.

zakman440 04-06-2013 07:09 AM

I voted in CBB to keep Speidi in, so I shall do the same this time around.

starry 04-06-2013 07:13 AM

No. It's up to the producers. Minimum of 3 up helps keep characters in, but for some reason they won't learn from the Australian one.

Its always been a problem in Reality voting shows cause teen girls will keep in good looking guys sadly. I doubt it ever change.

I think the problem is people who vote don't think before they vote about the good of the show. They think for example getting rid of the slightly campy OTT Housemate over a boring non talking housemate is good for the show cause the boring one is nice and the other is annoying is past its sell by date. They don't have to vote for the person to win but at least keep the interesting ones in until near the end.

Why does BB complain about the drama housemate being booted, and the dullards staying in?

The simple solution is to only put in drama housemates, and no dullards. It's in their control for f-sakes in the casting. It's their own fault for putting the dullards in in the first place.

Democracy doesn't work.

Macie Lightfoot 05-06-2013 12:58 AM

Saving Speidi isn't really the best example considering that they sucked and CBB11 was the worst CBB ever.

Will it be a female evicted first, for the 14th successive time?

I can;t see otherwise. I the first week females get all defensive and vote out the other female threats, males vote out the irritating female usually, so unless there are some really aggressive or annoying guys who are both up against no female then I can't see it happening.

Benjamin 05-06-2013 01:54 AM

And out of that list, Mary was robbed, she was never up for eviction, that stupid twist put her there and robbed us of a potentially great housemate.

I don't actually see this as BB's fault, alot of the so called ''bores'' were probably outgoing and way OTT in their auditions only to be completely different in the house..it's a front..

I remember Nathan BB11 having a mental VT/interview on the launch show and then he turned out to be pretty pointless, they can't tell if someones lying/putting/would actually be a good housemate once they're in a house surrounded by cameras for days on end on a front or not, it's a lottery

I agree with Nathan on this, Housemates do overdo it on their VT's and simply do it cause if they don't they won't get chosen. I think the whole surrounded by camera's and bigger personalities does shrink many to been bores. Vanessa BB6 had the best VT out of any housemate from BB history but she ended up been the most laziest useless housemate ever.

I think BB producers or whoever does the audition process need to change their way of doing things make it a bit more tougher so they can weed out the real deals from the fake's.

Lwize 05-06-2013 05:35 AM

I don't vote - it's an expensive international call.

Preposterous, Vanetha was great <3

BBDodge 05-06-2013 11:53 AM

If BB put in housemates that were all good and memorable then voters couldn't "ruin" it.

One of the most obvious week 1 evictees ever. Asked BB if she could leave after just a few minutes in the house, spent most of her week in bed looking bedraggled. Must have had 100% potential because there was nothing realised.

Tregard 05-06-2013 12:42 PM

To be fair, I'm fairly certain Speidi made it to 2nd due to here and Digital Spy. We do alright.
