For more than 2000 years, greeks , persians, chinese, mongal culture flourished in that beautiful country but it only took 30 years for the american v/s soviets war to completely destroy that country!! what a shame!

Afghanistan's history is laced with great empires and armies swooping in to take advantage. Right now it's the USA, maybe in the future it will be China. They have a problem with terrorists and it's being tackled by the USA. Some might say they only have terrorists because they've been subjected to so many bigger nations invading their territory. It goes round and round...

The country was bombed to dark ages long before Taliban were even present. Once a nation is destroyed, then people become refugees, and this leads to formation of terrorist groups, but if have to see the actual history and cause of afghan destruction. Nowadays Islam is used as a scapegoat, which is a peace of garbage, Islam has been present for centuries, and till before 1979 Afghanistan was a place of paradise for its people till outside influence destroyed, American Regime and Soviets have blood in their hands, US were the big causers of this war, because their main enemy at the time was soviet's, so they got CIA to do their dirty work. You can call Afghanistan a sh!t hole as much as you like, but the fact is without the tones of minerals, and opium and many other resources, you wouldn't be able to have the things you have in UK.

Where were these terrorist before 1979, you want to live in illusion that taliban caused the problem, when taliban were not present till the mid 90s, long after when the events of cold war made Afghanistan a destroyed country already. You need to study some history lessons. US caused it as they were fighting against soviet communism and the danger soviet getting their hands on the minerals.

US tackled it? US caused it for their own purpose, they don't give crap about the afghan people.

Maybe they don't give a crap about the Afghan people and maybe they did directly or indirectly cause the Taliban to come into existence; but as things stand at the moment, they're trying to sort out the mess they created (whether or not there are ulterior motives has not been proven) rather than just abandoning it after an abortive attempt at peace keeping. They're doing their best.

They are not sorting anything out, they are there to steal more resources and plant bombs in civilian areas and then report it as suicide bomb, they are war criminals and its a shame me and you are supporting these crimes by paying them taxes to kill more people. It is like a muslim's life is worthless, there war with Russia destroyed the country that was once a paradise, and they use taliban's to lie to sell their war on terrorism. How can you support this mass murder of innocent civilian's? Do you think someone turned a terrorist because of evil? Think about what you did to his families when he was made an orphan as a child, and the struggle, your government are the causers of their brutal dictatorship, they steal from other countries, and so use terror to put fear on these people to bring them to submission.
