What is the point of wasps?
 

Seriously, what's the point of these things?

producing honey, spreading pollen so that plants/flowers continue to reproduce and grow thus creating oxygen for us to breathe

I didn't know wasps created honey, I thought that was just bees?

yeah you're probably right...some probably do though..always thought they did anyway..

and wikipedia says this too...Wasps eat flies, aphids, caterpillars and other invertebrates, making them an important insect-controlling predator.

..they get rid of other small insects, kind of a balance I guess..

Wasps seem angry all the time.

Yeah they do feed on aphids and other pests which is good if you don't like your brassica's getting invaded.

I however am not a farmer so wasps are still squarely on my sh*t list.

What would be the ideal job for a wasp?

We know it left school early for being a massive **** to everybody and enrolled at college to do media studies, but once it got its pointless A2 grade what job would it go into?
