How warm is your house?

What heat is your thermostat on most?
mines 20 - 23 if it's on.

Lee. 12-10-2013 03:37 PM

I don't have a thermostat.. I just put it on until I can no longer breathe :)

I very rarely have my heating on if I can help it....not because I'm tight (honest) but I don't like the dry heat....if I have it on, it's for an hour to melt the ice off the inside of the windows

20/21 when it is on.

Ammi 12-10-2013 03:57 PM

..if it get really cold then I usually just put it on for an hour in the morning and the same in the evening but usually not until around late November/early December...unless one of us are coming down with something and have a chill, it may go on for a while but we usually just wrap in throws/blankets....

Vicky. 12-10-2013 04:03 PM

Had it on 22 but gav decided it was too cold and put it up..never checked what to but its like the ****ing Caribbean in here atm.

Yeah if you have it on low it doesn't have to heat all the way up from cold so it doesn't use as much...

Oh really, I love a cosy warm house, hate that chilly feel, I had it on last night for an a few hours as it was so wet the house felt cold when I got in from work.

Glenn. 12-10-2013 04:05 PM

Mines on 29 at the minute. My feet are freezing though so it needs to go up a bit.

Glenn. 12-10-2013 04:06 PM

Or I could just put some slippers on

That's my answer when people say theyre cold...."put another jumper on" 5 jumpers is not excessive I don't think

Marc 12-10-2013 04:10 PM

I don't know

Lee. 12-10-2013 04:11 PM

I sometimes have to open all the windows to cool the house down a bit before Dave gets home.. So he doesn't know I've had the heating on full for like 8 hours

..my house is quite warm Cherie and when I'm working it's usually empty so I hardly ever put it on during the day...

when im in alone 25 or above when hes in its bloody 20 and it doesn't go on then he wibbles some crap about well it must b on that temperature. then we got one of them cards that says when its too hot or cold so I get that out and say risk of illness we need to turn it up. thankfully hes out tonight @ 6pm so the heating will go on bloody full @ 6pm its cold and wet outside.

Kizzy 12-10-2013 04:19 PM

Lee!! That's terrible haha!
Remember my mum and dad having thermostat wars... he would put it on 18 and she would crank it to 25 when he wasn't looking.
