Water, Lighter or Matches and a thick book.


I suppose the most obvious things to say in these threads is phones, flares, a raft etc but I take it that's not what you meant? :laugh:

...LOL..well, I guess technically you could take a ship if you wanted to...but then what would be the point if you were sent for a year and that's how long you had to stay... (I don't know, I stole the question off another forum..)...

EDIT:..actually, I'll change it to luxury items...

do you really think the bottle of champagne would last the entire year without you being tempted to drink it? and wouldn't seeing the boat on your island for an entire year drive you mad? i have a boat, i can leave, but i can't,, because i have to be here an entire year. i think it would drive you mad.

Likely a fair few people would wish I was sent to a desert island for a year.

For me, Batteries,CDs and CD player would be enough for me. I'd likely even enjoy the peace and rest.

...that is so not true, Joey..everyone loves Joeysteele...but music is a good choice and I think I have an idea of some of the CDs you would be taking...

I don't love joeysteele, and "CD's" is multiple things, it's cheating. each individual CD would count as 1 thing, saying "CD's" plural is like wishing for more wishes. going with an iPod filled with your entire collection, and also one of those solar iPod chargers would be a smarter option.

Oh I could be very happy with one lot of CDs, a boxed set anyway,that would do nicely.
