The Tom Daley diving show returns after turning out to be a surprise hit last year, and it seems ITV have managed to bag some much bigger names this time around.

Each week, five celebs will dive as they compete for a spot in the final stages. Viewer votes will decide the first to go through, while the next two most popular contestants will dive again and the judges will pick who will also make it into the next round.

Those taking part in the first heat include Diversity star Perri Kiely, who insists his dance skills don’t give him as much advantage as some may think.

“I thought I might have a bit of a head start with the flips but there is so much technique involved,” he said. “It’s very difficult but I’m having so much fun.”

He’ll join TOWIE’s Gemma Collins, who joked: “I’m not going to lie – the training is exhausting. But I feel that at Rio in 2016, Tom might have some competition.”

Completing the line up are TV presenter Michaela Strachan, Eastenders actress Ricky Groves and Hollyoaks star Gemma Merna.

Not that its the caliber of celebrities this show needs to worry about. How on earth did it even get a second series?

No I have no idea. He's a person of the moment so they're taking advantage of that, win/win for them both, it's hard for Olympic athletes to maintain a public profile if that's something they want to do.

He only got a bronze medal as well :idc:

You don't see Victoria Pendleton and Chris Hoy teaching people how to ride a bike, or Mo Farah playing ****ing tag with people.

I'm sick of the TV networks hard ons for this select bunch of Olympians.

Daley, Pendleton, Beth Tweddle and Louis Smith get paraded around like they're god's gift to the sporting world, but most of the gold medal winners don't even get mentioned i.e. Greg Rutherford etc.

this show is utter crap (imo) and for Prime Time Saturday night viewing is very poor :bored: Thank goodness Take Me Out is also returning to save the day.
