Emma tries to talk about Big Brother.....Alan Carr cuts her off!
Channel 4 I hate you.
Im sure people would rather hear about CBB over The Voice. People only watch The Voice with actual interest for the blind auditions then millions give up on it. CBB and BB viewers commit to the show because they love it. Yes The Voice is a ratings hit but c'mon this is a dirty, un pc talk show! |

This is coming from Alan Carr who used to host The Friday Night Project which consisted of them doing sketches off BB and even had Nadia and Jade host. Ooh and now Justin Lee Collins ex co host is going in lol. |

He didn't really do that though, they were just all chatting over each other and she did say she was being 'picked on' and they stopped speaking to her

Its like they wanted the show to be brushed off as a joke. ITV promote it quite a lot with adverts being placed most nights during prime time ads and This Morning and Loose Women making it a talking point. Does anyone actually give a **** about The Voice? Im quite disappointed shes hosting it to be honest. |

Spoke about? No. It was one of the biggest talking points in the media this year that she had taken over |

Oh well maybe she'll mention it later

The Voice is great. idc. Although it is a flop here, USA >>>
Meh, the promotion this series has been terrible anyway, they have 2 days to go all out, but it's not looking good. |

Daniel I think you're imagining |
Alan Carr's always hated the show though. He didn't like when they did BB specials of Friday Night Project.
ITV promote it because channel 5 pay for ad slots, as they have done on channel 4. No point making it sound like they somehow support the show and channel 4 don't. They simply advertise things they're paid to advertise. |

The fact that they were not even talking about Big Brother furthers my point. So no I am not imagining you need to read the threads comments then make a comment that actually relates to it. I said that Channel 4 wouldnt talk about Big Brother...Get it now? |

On C4 it's hardly surprising; they want to pretend that it "ended" on their channel after Ultimate BB. It is a bit of an embarrassment for them. They axed it with woeful ratings of < 1 million viewers and they expected it to flop on Channel 5, but its ratings more than doubled from that low (though obviously nowhere near it's peak) AND - crucially - C4's ratings for the time slot last summer were worse than ever (i.e. they would have made more money for the time slot, every night of the week for three solid months, if they had kept and promoted BB). That they don't want it mentioned is to be expected, really.
The Voice... bleh. I'll give it ONE more go this year (because Jessie J is gone and, as bad as the show has been, she was the worst of it) but if it's not much better in the first few weeks I'll be tuning out (or, rather, removing the series link... no one tunes into stuff any more do they?) The format has so much potential, but they never end up with anyone decent past the second round?? Look at the two winners. Jesus effing christ. They make Sam Bailey look half decent. |
