Anyway, I don't see why it's any less valid than "I've not really spoken to them". At least it was based on something other than not really knowing people.

Definetly a valid reason IMO, and it was genuine because she feels strongly about animals. I don't really think it matters what the reason is as long as its genuine. I hate all this fake "oh I really like him, but..." Nonsense.

If I was in the house I would nominate Jim because he said nuclear bombs are good

Liz has a home full of rescued animals... cats, horses, sheep... she's entitled to her opinion and I'd rather believe animals have souls and should be respected, than go with Evander and say they were put on earth for our convenience and consumption only.

yeah, I agree. If she wasn't genuinely an animal lover and really believe that herself I'd say no but she clearly does believe it so that makes it valid

I should probably have said in the OP, I don't have a problem with her saying it and get her point I was just surprised to hear that as a nomination reason...

Like someone has already said I'd rather hear a reason like that then the usual, we just haven't bonded etc etc

I think her reason was valid enough, at least she gave an honest reason rather than the fake bull**** we usually get from housemates.

To be honest it's refreshing and IMO believable coming from her so I don't take issue with it

I felt it a good enough reason, she clearly adores her pets and so it was something he had said that really was at odds with her own thinking.

The amount of crap she supposedly writes about people i'd be more inclined to believe she has no soul.

She's a devoted animal lover so she gets a big vote to save from me. She was right to nom Evander. His ignorance on several topics has put me right off him.

Well it's more of a reason than what Sam and Ollie gave last night that's for certain.
