Your perception of 30 year olds

Be you younger, older or that age what is your view of people around the 30 age bracket?

Was wondering because my own perception has changed immensely from when I was 18, yet I still don't class myself near that age (God help my breakdown in four months time)

I am nearly 22 but I cannot say I see anything as to being 30,then again,I am useless at guessing anyones age and also age doesn't matter to me,I love being with people of any age really.
To me 30 will be just the start of another decade as to age.

Kazanne 31-01-2014 10:22 PM

I think 30 is the best age,But I think it depends on your outlook on life, some people dread getting old,I think it's good to get older, afterall I don't fancy the alternative.some people are young at heart, others old farts at 20

King Gizzard 31-01-2014 10:23 PM

bunch of horrible bastards really

Saph 31-01-2014 10:23 PM

old and wrinkly

HD 31-01-2014 10:26 PM

old, vile and probably racist

smudgie 31-01-2014 10:29 PM

Ah to be 30 again.
It is a fantastic age, still very young but old enough to be thought of as mature.
A foot in each camp.
When I as 18 I honestly thought 30 year olds were ancient.
Now of course I think they are mere babies.
My two kids are either side of 30 and I look at them and think that thirty is the new twenty.

30 is young

joeysteele 31-01-2014 10:42 PM

Ben I wouldn't worry,it is how people think and act that matters, age is just a number.

I did feel odd leaving my teens and turning 20 but I guess I will remain the daft guy I am even up to when I get to 70/80,if I get that far.

Kizzy 31-01-2014 11:32 PM

I remember thinking it was the end of the world.... but don't make that mistake, 30 is a great age! old enough not to be naive but young enough to still use and abuse people.... hehe

Old and wrinkly

Apple202 31-01-2014 11:57 PM

the age where people settle down and have kids

Apple202 31-01-2014 11:59 PM

i dont think 30 is old though, old generally id say is 50+, but even then if you look younger i wouldnt class you as old

MTVN 01-02-2014 12:03 AM

I used to wonder why people got so freaked out about turning 30 but I can definitely see it now, it seems to me to be the age where if you haven't got the key elements of your life sorted then you should be worried. I don't see it as being old but it's like a watershed in your life, after then a different part of your life should be starting

Mind you I am also dreading turning 21

Mystic Mock 01-02-2014 12:13 AM

I'm dreading turning 18 let alone 30 lol.

Chuck 01-02-2014 12:24 AM

The age you freak out for not having a established career, family and kids.

30 is not old at all! I know plenty people in there 30s and I feel like they are the same age as me really although they way more responsibilities like husbands/wife's, kids etc lol.
