Steve Irwin - Mourning his death and not arguing.

That thread will be locked and we won't be able to pay our dues, so I'd rather post in this thread than try to say my piece in that thread.

Like I said before, he was a great loss to the television industry and was clearly a very kind, caring and passionate man. I wish I could have met him, I'd have loved to have heard about things he'd done in the past. I feel badly for his wife and small children, it must be hard for Terri Irwin right now, my condolences to her and I guess I'd advise her to not talk to the media.

Theres about 3 people who actually were mourning (me included) thats what started this whole thing

Lil-Lindz 04-09-2006 04:16 PM

Steve taught me alot about wildlife, and he taught millions to respect and conserve some of our greatest animals and their enviroments, Condolences to his wife and children as this must be a hard time for them, I can personally take comfort in knowing he died doing something he loved and im sure his work will help to conserve and protect some of our most beutiful and unsual wildlife

I said no arguing. That includes talking about arguing. Can't people even have respect for what a person has done in their life and not be mean about them? Whether you like him or not, it shouldn't matter, people should be respectful and should appreciate the things that person has done in their lifetime. Steve Irwin did more for nature than anyone of our era, and I think we should be respecting that.

Steve was a legend
he put his life in danger all the time to create good entertainment for us
it's so sad that he died, becuase he was only 44 and had a wife and two children

Chrizzle 04-09-2006 04:21 PM

I never really watched any of his films, but I do think he was fantastic.
He'll be greatly missed

Lil-Lindz 04-09-2006 04:21 PM

Steve risked his life for the animals he loved, he taught the world that all animals, including snakes, sharks and crocodiles have their place on this planet
I hope his conservation will continue, if not some of our most beutiful animals will face extintion

Ella 04-09-2006 04:23 PM

I feel bad for him family

Lil-Lindz 04-09-2006 04:25 PM

I hope terri will bring up his children the way he wanted, and i hope they will continure to run australia zoo and I hope they will strive to protect animal species across the world

emz438 04-09-2006 04:34 PM

I didn't know him, and to be honest with you, don't feel much remorse, but feel sorry for his family like I would with anyones if a relative died.

emz438 04-09-2006 04:36 PM

Oh sorry that sounds really harsh, but I just don't feel much, even though it's sad he died at an early age if you get me.

Lil-Lindz 04-09-2006 04:38 PM

Its ok, didnt sound harsh to me
If you didnt know him then how can you possibly feel remorse, at least you have respect for him and his family
I respect that
If i didnt know someone I would still feel bad if they died
I hope terri and his kids are ok

Its so sad. A lot of people looked up to him and its such a shame to know that he is no longer with us. And also that he left a young ffamily behind.
