It's your own fault Jale

Is basically what she said to her when they sat down to have their chat after the killer nom was revealed. Not once did she accept any kind of responsibility or say look I'm really sorry I had to do that to you but I had to pick someone She basically was trying to make Jale feel guilty for Pauline not liking her more. And her reasons for not liking her were so flimsy as well and further trying to put her down by basically saying she was lazy and greedy. I know she had to pick someone and fine if Jale is the one she likes least then that's fair enough, it;s just the way she went about it was cruel and she honestly seemed disappointed that Jale took it so well and purposely tried to upset her more.

Anyway yeah I think this is a bad sign of her character and I reckon she's going to get worse and worse, thoughts?

MrWong 11-06-2014 09:23 AM

If being greedy offended her that much she would have nominated Ash.

HBB1508 11-06-2014 09:24 AM

I totally agree Pauline really wanted a fight when the killer nom was revealed and she hated that Jale took it so well she just had to get back in there and rub in what she thinks of her - not nice at all - I never liked Pauline and now really really dislike the woman. I really hope whoever gets the power now makes her life a misery.

chuff me dizzy 11-06-2014 09:25 AM

She twisted it like a good un !! i think she even convinced Jale !!!!!

I hope not Chuff but I also thought the only time when showed a bit of "sympathy" towards her was when Jale said I'm not a victim, it's pathetic" straight away Pauline jumped on that word, "Oh don't say that" but it seemed like she was trying to reinforce it a bit

Slevin 11-06-2014 09:33 AM

Pauline is a piece of work. i hope she gets some humble pie soon. also i wish they would stop showing the same clip or two of that giddy aunt saying.

Ellen 11-06-2014 09:40 AM

Pauline had to be seen appearing to smooth it over with Jale to the other HM's & the public otherwise her sweet caring mother persona that she thinks she has in the house would have been blown.
Jale knew there was no point in kicking off because most of the house would have turned on her more so than it is now. Jale did the right thing, she is biding her time.

Josy 11-06-2014 09:41 AM

She actually had the nerve to say to her, you made my choice easy it was your own doing or something like that.

I do agree with Chuff that watching it made me think she actually persuaded Jale too :bored:

I don't think she is the type to ever accept any responsibility tbh even the first night when she put Matthew up in the box, she walked out of the house and gave him a half hearted 'Oh you will get over it' then spent the next while talking with Mark.

Says a lot about her. Awful woman.

Josy 11-06-2014 09:44 AM

Oh and I agree she is going to get even worse, she is already preaching at the housemates when talking as if she's the head honcho, she's practically taken control of the food/kitchen.

I hope she gets nominated now she's not immune any more.

Yeah true.

I did notice Helen and Mark weren't with her as much after it was announced her power had gone though, I'm hoping they drift away from her.

mmmm I think Mark might be a little bit more BB savvy then alot of the others too, I can kind of see in him that maybe he's thinking that being friends with Jale rather than two outspoken and a bit mean girls like Pauline and Helen could be a better move. I don't think Helen thinks at all though, she just mouths off

Slevin 11-06-2014 09:54 AM

if she keeps up the way she is i think it'll be sooner than later that'll she be up. i dont think many like her as it seems.

Yeah I was surprised at Mark after the argument tbh, he knew what way the public were going to see that and also knew Helen was out of order with a few of the things she said during it.

He also wasn't his usual loud self either.

Lets hope so.

Cherie 11-06-2014 10:10 AM

That was classic, you made me do it by taking that extra piece of chicken :joker: I hope that Jale is actually just game playing by crying and pretending to take on board what she is saying, she looks a bit too street wise to actually swallow all that from Pauline imo.

Sophiee 11-06-2014 12:17 PM

I didn't think she came over well at all here. I guess she was trying to explain why she chose her but she could have tried to be more empathetic towards jale, I think she did have jale convinced with her reasoning after as well.

I agree with this. she always thinks she's in the right and won't accept anybody else's opinion over her own.

Tarryn 11-06-2014 12:27 PM

Will all the housemates still love Pauline if the crowd chant get Pauline out on eviction night ?.

Marsh. 11-06-2014 12:42 PM

To be honest, I don't think that edit did her any favours.

In the clip shown on BOTS it made a little more sense. They were talking about how this show works and the fact they've all put themselves up for the process so they have to deal with being nominated, or the burden of nominating someone else.

She said certain things happen that lead to who you pick at that time and Jale put herself in the firing line via the chicken incident. Not that it's Jale's fault and she should blame herself but that she just happened to get herself on the wrong side of Pauline and it could've been anyone else at any other time under any other circumstances.

Not sure if that makes sense, but it does to me and I thought it was quite a good response to it. I don't think they showed her commending Jale for the mature and dignified response to the nomination when the other two kicked off.

ah dont get me started on that bitch lol.

one of the worst put downs ive seen in such a nasty way the fact jale took it is shocking. no respect for her now.. if i was there i would of said something .
maybe some there who listened or jale herself was to thick to take in what ws being said. but i found it pure nasty to the extreme, done in such a manipulative way.
what i cant work out is its only been a few days and they are strangers. why would anyone take that from a stranger. it wouldn't happen normally

I guess because it's not your everyday kind of a situation, Jale has to live with those strangers for (possibly) a good few weeks

BigSister 11-06-2014 01:38 PM

Yes she kinda made it out because Jale took the extra piece of chicken that's why she put her up #chickengate

Marsh. 11-06-2014 01:41 PM

But that's true. In the clip shown on BOTS, Pauline was explaining that it's an artificial environment and when you're given a decision like that it has to be someone.

Jale just put herself in the firing line (not through her own fault) just because that's what happens.

It could have been anyone who crossed her bad side at any other time and they would've had her nomination. That's how it works.

Just as Helen and Danielle's argument will no doubt result in some nominations next week that wouldn't have occurred had the argument not taken place and if something else had happened.

jet 11-06-2014 02:02 PM

Pauline is an awful woman. She's cold and smug imo and as some here have already noticed - POISONOUS. The way she talked to Jale was cruel and manipulative.
I bet it's not long before most of the HM's start warming to Jale and nomming Pauline now she has lost the power to affect them.

reece(: 11-06-2014 02:02 PM

Pauline wasn't as bluntly saying it from the BOTS clip

Agree jet. I like Pauline on the first night... not any more though.
