Big Brother blatant manipulation

Big Brother gave Matthew and Toya the "power" to save one of the nominated housemates. They chose Steven.

They also gave Matthew and Toya the "power" to veto 3 housemates nominations. This resulted in Kimberly being saved.

We all know what happened between Kimberly and Steven after this?

Steven was saved AGAIN by the "power" girls.

This week, they ALL get put up for eviction, but instead of public vote, 3 new housemates have the "power".

None of the housemates have the power, Big Brother has the power.
Big Brother: POWER TRIP

Scotty07 17-07-2014 04:21 PM

Not long left now before big brother will let the new housemates know who they are allowed to evict.:suspect:

Mystic Mock 17-07-2014 04:22 PM

Stimberly will be favoured till about week 8 or 9 then one of them will be allowed to leave.

Achilles 17-07-2014 04:28 PM

I would not be surprised if Kimberly and Steven make it all the way to the final. They will be the 2 housemates with least number of votes to win and be evicted together and have interview together.

I have to agree. There is are lots of 'twists' that seem to help Steven

Gusto Brunt 17-07-2014 04:31 PM

I'm getting a bit hissed (replace the 'h' with a 'p') off with BB of late.

Ramsay 17-07-2014 04:31 PM

Steady on.

Big brother as we know it doesn't exist anymore. We may be judging the show by the old standards. I have no idea what this show is claiming to be anymore. I would be a fool to vote.

daniel-lewis-1985 17-07-2014 06:56 PM

Steven is up for eviction this week though and producers have put his place in the house at risk.

I do agree this year has been more manipulated but its the theme of this year we all knew what to expect.

Will they ever bring back the power housemate or is that dead in the water now? Im kind of sick of the theme and just want it to be Big Brother.

rubymoo 17-07-2014 07:05 PM

Steven will stay, the 3 new housemates haven't the guts to evict him, they're all saying he's nice, it pisses me off as the new housemates know who we as the public want out, but will they deliver...NO!

Steven isn't allowed to go, and again BB took our power as the viewer away, we should be the ones who says who stays and who goes!

Headie 17-07-2014 07:07 PM

Steven has been safe for 2 weeks in a row, and it's most likely that he would've gone in both of those weeks. And it looks like this week will be his third week safe from eviction due to another twist...

I told y'all we should've got rid of him instead of Pauline :fist:

I would not be surprised if BB producers notes for this season are as follows.

Create and show as many arguments as possible, even better, get them
with expletives and nudity.

Put as many prostitutes in the house as possible.

Cut to TV breaks as often as possible as requested by the only people that matter... our sponsors.

Post video clips on social media sites to entice viewers to tune in then delete said video clip and deny
all knowledge of their existence.

Put just as many uneducated dumb ass pretty boys regardless of sexual orientation in the house.

Never ever show unedited footage from the house, only stick to the prearranged script.

At no point must we allow the public to warm to any housemate.

If anything gross happens in the BB house ( eg: if a housemate takes a dump in the fridge or has sex) it goes straight to the top of our highlights list.

At any point we must never show any housemate having some kind of normal conversation.

Remember... if the ratings drop on an episode simply add another twist then cross your fingers that they go back up the next evening. If that fails keep adding twists.

Create as many stunts twists and turns as we possibly can even if there not needed just to alienate our target audience and piss them off even more.

And finally always remember.....

Here at BB we decide everything and NEVER the Great British public!

Mark or Winston should be taken out by the newbies just to go against the flow.

Yes I am in full agreement. I could have just about put up with one housemate being removed from the house with no reference back to the public as to that, namely Marlon on Monday.
However a further housemate going at the hands of only the new and in my view unnecesary housemates with again no reference back to the public is the last straw for me as to this series.

His contract is for week 8.

Why can't we watch a Big Brother with normal people and natural dynamics again?

The theme was supposed to do with the housemates. Not the production team rigging the programme.

Big Brother POWER TRIP.

Big Brother made their intentions known on DAY ONE.

Helen was given a free pass to the final - THE DRAMA AND CONTROVERSY

Mark was given £5k - THE WINNER

Armageddon is Big Brother POWER TRIP in full effect. They are saying "we can do what we like and there is F all you can do about it, we are on a POWER TRIP peasants"

The Kimberly and Steven showmance was created to be as MENTAL as possible for maximum effect

Unless my memory has failed me completely, I thought it was PAULINE who allocated the £5,000 and the free pass to the final.
