If Chris were up for a head-to-head eviction, who would he survive against?

Because I don't wish to be cocky but I think he could survive against anyone :idc: And it's looking fairly obvious the house is out to get him this weekend, so I reckon he's a shoe-in for nominations. I'd only really be worried if it were Chris vs. Christopher, or Chris vs. Zoe (not sure if anyone would bother to evict her).

Yaki da 19-07-2014 06:35 PM

He'd destroy anyone in a vote right now.

I'm still trying to work out the nomination rules though. Is it anyone with 2 up or the top 3?

Mystic Mock 19-07-2014 06:54 PM

Everyone except for Christopher I think.

They make the nomination process up as they go along on Ch5.

Achilles 19-07-2014 07:01 PM

He would wipe the floor with Helen and Steven, Pav would be defeated easily too. The rest would be lot closer but I still think he could beat most of them. It all depends on the passion of the vote, not just the number of fans or haters.

Lostie! 19-07-2014 07:02 PM

Everyone bar Winston and Mark, I reckon.

I think it is "the 2 or more housemates with the most nominations will face the public vote"

This.

I'd be concerned if he was up against Zoe, but I can't see her having that many BB fans willing to vote someone else out to keep her, whereas Chris's fans would for sure vote her out.

I think Winston and Mark are "hated" more than Chris. So even if they were more popular with general public, which is not certain anyway, they could still lose. You have to combine the positive and negative votes for each in 1v1.

VanessaFeltz. 19-07-2014 07:07 PM

Everybody except Mark and Winston

Shaun 19-07-2014 07:08 PM

yeah I can almost guarantee Winston would be evicted over him (for associations with the Helen crowd, being a general posterchild for responsible steroid use) Mark, maybe there's room for doubt.

Achilles 19-07-2014 07:18 PM

Say housemate A has 50,000 fans and housemate B has 20,000 fans.
Housemate A is more popular, in that they have more fans.

However you need to factor in the average number of votes per fan to measure the intensity of support.

If housemate A has 50,000 and each vote 3 times, on average, housemate A receives 150,000 total votes.
If housemate B has 20,000 and each vote 15 times, on average, housemate B receives 300,000 total votes.

Then you need to think about how many haters each has and how intense that hate is.

GypsyGoth 19-07-2014 07:20 PM

And then there are old people who dial the wrong number.

Imagine if they are hardcore too. Vote 100 times and find out they been voting for wrong one :hehe:

Black Dagger 19-07-2014 07:23 PM

I think he'd stay over everybody except maybe Mark, and even then I think he'd beat Mark due to people thinking he's a bit fake and try-hard maybe?

And factor in those that don't vote. Probably one of the reasons we have a few surprise evictions is that the viewing pool is so much smaller and therefore the number of those viewers who vote is smaller again. So the multi-voters with their campaigners on Facebook, spending £50 on voting is actually making a difference.

I don't think he would stay over Winston he seems to have the teen vote this year

abhorson 19-07-2014 08:13 PM

Anyone of them.

I don't really think that's all it's hyped up to be. All of Ashleigh's, Mark's and just about every other HM's fans would see it as the perfect opportunity to get rid of the 'favourite to win'.

Scotty07 19-07-2014 08:34 PM

He's certainly the housemate that I'd least want to see Ashleigh go up against and I wouldn't bet on him being evicted against any of them in a head to head.

Headie 19-07-2014 09:28 PM

He's a bore so he'd survive VTE regardless

When it is 1v1, VTE/VTS is completely irrelevant.

MeMyselfAndI 19-07-2014 09:30 PM

He'd beat everyone I think.

rusticgal 19-07-2014 09:33 PM

Everyone....end of.
