I think the poster was trying to give it an oldschool horror movie feel but it's not particularly representative of the show.
It's more ancient Vampire stuff, but not your average old two pointy incisors typa' vamps! We've only really seen one of the actual 'ancients' so far (don't know if there will be more ?) and he's around 8 or 9 foot tall and beastly as Hell!!!

It's quite high-budget stuff with great visuals and effects too.

I watched the pilot last night, thought it was brilliant. One of the best pilots I've seen for a long time. Really great story, acting and visual effects. I'm definitely going to keep up with this.

Great cast with Corey Stoll and David Bradley too :worship:

If it carries on like it's been so far i can see it getting a second season easily.

The little french girl from the plane in the second episode is awesome!:laugh:

I still am but finding some characters annoying now, that Ansel's wife annoys me just the way she acts then the female cdc doctor (Nora I think) she was doing my head in a bit last night screaming what are you doing etc when the old guy killed the girl and her dad, um you were just attacked before with one of these creatures you knew what they were fgs.

On another note does Ansel remind anyone of Steve Buscemi? the way he speaks really sounds like him imo.
