What happened to Zoom was a cool reference to the comics too (I haven't read them but I've read up quite a bit online) when he was attacked by the Time Wraiths he ended up looking like the Black Flash.

I love that whole butterfly effect/sliding doors kind of thing where you change something and see everyone have different lives afterwards, that idea has always fascinated me. Also, it's a good way to reboot for Season 3, it would be dull to have him live happily ever after with Iris etc. That bit at the end with Zoom was creepy, those guys remind me of dementors

Yeah I completely agree. I hope we see some really cool changes (that last, I don't want them conveniently undone by season's end :laugh:).

One of my slight gripes has been that I've been excited for Caitlin to become Killer Frost since the show started and then they just had that role be taken by her Earth-2 counterpart, so it'd be pretty cool (pun intended :hehe:) if the Earth-1 Caitlin is now a villain (which I've been wondering about since they've made a point of having Zoom tell her that she has darkness and the capacity to be like Killer Frost in her, I wonder if that was foreshadowing).

Nora being alive in general is exciting too because it gives us a heap of possible new character dynamics (since we've only known her in flashbacks so far so having her around in the present-day is bound to be interesting).

I wonder if the butterfly effect of this change ends up with the Earth-1 Harrison Wells still being alive? Since Earth-2 Harry returned to his Earth in the finale, it would be a way to keep Tom Cavanagh around.

Ohhhhh good shout about Killer Frost Lostie, i don't want Caitlin to be bad though, maybe Barry can make her good and she could have her powers still

They're going to have to keep Wells in it too imo whether it's bad Wells or good wells, he's one of the best characters

Yeah totally agree, he'd be a big loss if he wasn't around anymore. I like the thought of Earth-1 Wells being around since we don't really know him beyond the flashbacks. And the team have never yet met him in the original timeline (since the guy they thought was him was Eobard Thawne the whole time).

Though there probably isn't even a "team" anymore. :laugh:

But if there isn't a team or a Harrison Wells then Barry wouldn't be the Flash either, would he? hhhmmm

What did you think of the man in the mask reveal? I wasn't surprised because I was 100% convinced it would be a version of Barry's father and the real Jay Garrick after reading a theory online but I liked it because it worked.

And it tied back nicely to John Wesley Shipp playing Barry in the 1990 TV series by having him be a version of The Flash again, I bet it made him nostalgic. :laugh:

Yeah he did, and when Barry was travelling to Earth-2 and caught glimpses of other universes, there was a brief shot of the 1990 version of The Flash (so basically that version of The Flash exists in this show in another universe which is a nice touch :laugh:).

Mark Hamill played the Trickster originally in the 1990 show too (and they used images of him from the 1990 version in the current show when referring to his crime spree from years ago).

And Tina McGee (that English scientist woman) was played by the same actress in the old show as well. :laugh:

I really like how they keep making references to the older show, they really do have a great love for the whole Flash mythology.

About Eddie, yeah I saw a lot of people theorizing that, I thought it myself for a while too actually.
