An elderly lady in Devon has booked all the tables in her local pub and has invited people who are on their own to join her.

I hope this pub does well in business after Christmas is over, as it's a brilliant gesture.

Thats a really good idea too...we invivted a few single mates for dinner at ours (just to be nice tbh...) but thankfully they all declined so now I can go to my dads for dinner instead of having to cook :joker:

It is a brilliant idea and a great thing to do, it would be nice if far more did so too and also all the Churches too, instead of preaching to everyone else that they should be doing something, while doing not a thing themselves.

This year I won't have to cook for Christmas. My sister will! :cheer2::dance:

They are probably expecting to recoup the cost of food on Bar Sales.
