Should Katy Price receive goverment subsidy?

I've just read that Katy P and Katy H were discussing Katy P's handicapped son's travel arrangements. He has a personal driver and a nurse travelling with him every day and Katy P said that the government pay for it.
Katy H was shocked (as I was) and asked why Katy P didn't pay for it herself?
Katy P's reply was that it would cost a grand a day.
What a selfish mare. Someone, who hasn't a fraction of her fortune, could do with the help and maybe can't get it because of users like her.

Id rather the goverement pay for a disabled child then fund somebodys drug habit

Jack The Cat 26-01-2015 04:14 PM

What!!!!

She is a multi millionaire, who probably has accounts who set up tax avoidance schemes.

No way should she be getting any format of government payments.

abhorson 26-01-2015 04:15 PM

Worth £30 million.

the truth 26-01-2015 04:16 PM

surely shes breaking the law? they check your worth, your savings and income before allowing any benefits or assistance? disgusting. she is a vile human being, thats if she is human at all

Shaun 26-01-2015 04:17 PM

In a word: no. I'd also like to know on what possible grounds a thousand pounds a day for a driver and a nurse seems fair...

abhorson 26-01-2015 04:18 PM

Even the richest are entitled to child benefits but many don't claim it.

Niamh. 26-01-2015 04:18 PM

Well that's shocking that someone with her wealth is entitled to government aid

Disability benefit is not means tested, She pays tax I assume so she is entitled to claim same as anybody else

I very much doubt it's 1,000 unless he is travelling the length and breath of the country every day

:clap1::clap1:

A lot of tax i should imagine.

But if i was worth £30 mil i would pay for such things myself but have no qualms about others not doing so.

I know and that should be too imo

smudgie 26-01-2015 04:24 PM

Sounds a bit daft, however, if he is entitled and it is not means tested then so be it.
I don't understand how it could amount to a thousand pound a day, sounds rather a lot.

Tip 26-01-2015 04:25 PM

Means testing costs a fortune and is usually found to be more expensive to tax payers than not means testing some types of benefits.

that's not disability benefit that's only £100 a week...this is s a personal nruse and driver every day? paid for by US? this is always means tested, clearly they've made special arrangements for her simply because of who she is, which means the woman with £30 million is getting more government aid than the woman with nothing

Not all benefits are means tested.

I thought there now was an upper earning limit on child benefits, introduced recently.

Alot of disabled kids are ferried to and from school by taxi, they all travel with an escort, or if travelling to school by bus will have an escort, it's for health and safety reasons, she is not a special case, I think she has made it sound posher than it actually is
