Afroman punches woman on stage

Cops hauled Afroman off stage, and he knows why -- because he punched a female fan in the face ... instead of getting high -- and the video of the incident is brutal.

The rapper was performing in Biloxi, Mississippi Tuesday night when the woman somehow got on stage and started dancing next to Afroman -- and then suddenly, without warning ... he turned and landed a right-handed haymaker to her face.

He obliterated the woman ... who went down hard -- but Afroman kept on performing. Witnesses say she was bleeding and crying, but somehow she managed to get up on her own.

Cops eventually stopped the show, escorted him off stage, and arrested him outside the venue. He was booked for assault.

Afroman's rep says the rapper had no idea if the fan was a man or a woman -- he just reacted to someone being on stage. The rep claims there was a lack of security at the venue to keep fans off the stage.

The rep added this is totally out of character for Afroman ... who was released late Tuesday after paying a $330 bond.

I was reading about this earlier, his excuse is that he didn't know if it was a man or woman on stage and didn't know what they were doing. The woman shouldn't have been on stage and grinding on him anyway, but he deserves whatever it is he gets for the way he dealt with it.. Hasn't shown any remorse either.

He's a musician having a concert though, you have to expect fans to try to get involved etc

Yeah, but security usually stop them. Where even are the security.. it looks like a regular guy that jumps on the stage after to check on the woman

Yeah they should have but it's still not an excuse, these fans are there to support him and enjoy his music and that's how he treats over enthusiastic ones?

Josy 19-02-2015 02:36 PM

Omg right after watching that vid I'm actually shocked, how can he claim he doesn't know it's a woman?

Yeah true, to me it looks as if he looks at her then turns round and plays to the crowd then all of a sudden does that to her?

Out of order tbh.

Strange, just before I read that post I was thinking of when Chandler said in Friends that he ran on stage at a Wham concert and George Michael slapped him.

You accept the consequences of what you do. If you hit out at someone when you apparently have no idea whether it was a man or a woman you take the hit when it turns out to be a lass.

Agree. The woman was a fan. She made no attempt to harm him and - security or no security - there is no excuse for punching her. I hope she sues him for all the cash he might have left.

Nedusa 19-02-2015 03:30 PM

He needs to stay off the skunk.

InOne 19-02-2015 03:34 PM

He was a one hit wonder anyway

Maybe it was a revenge attack for the Chelsea incident?
