Better to let Aaron dig himself a big hole and disappear into it. I do agree with others though, Joel is a target for Aaron because he is gay and refusing to acknowledge it. If Joel was truly straight, Aaron wouldn't have given him a second look.

As a Joel fan it helps keep him noticed as Aaron's a production favourite for highlight footage.

i find it so uncomfortable - feel so sorry for poor joel. he is a bit younger and has probably not been in this situation before and the farct it is on tv - when he comes out he will cringe.

but this could well be a turning point - time will tell.

It is getting him in the highlights Mock, as you say.
I would hope Joel would feel he could easily say if it bothered him too much anyway, and tell him to stop.
However that can often help make things worse depending on how rational or not, the other person is.

When someone keeps at you,they often can be so totally ignorant they take no notice or get very nasty were they to be told they were causing any offence, or bothering someone.

Joel perhaps is handling it rather well in those circumstances,despite maybe really smouldering inside and wanting to really let fly.
