I'm not comfortable with this

Marc the only one speaking up when all the other housemates were standing round Simon having a dig :clap1:

GiRTh 04-06-2015 09:02 PM

Well payed to him but not for asking Sam if she takes it up the bum.

Jay. 04-06-2015 09:02 PM

yet he's comfortable with making others feel uncomfortable

i don't get him

Beetlejuice 04-06-2015 09:02 PM

I caught the end of the show. Just saw him call Chloe "phat" by which he meant fat.

So he's told her she's going for an STI test and now called her fat. But hey, I guess if you say "Only joking" in a funny accent you can get away with that.

Richkingretro 04-06-2015 09:04 PM

It ironic Marc thinking Simon was being bullied when Marc is the biggest bully in there

Quite true

StephenPullen 04-06-2015 09:07 PM

Good on Marc.

He's saying everything I've been saying all evening

Saying a lewd or controversial comment about someone to their face is completely different to a group of people systematically, verbally attacking someone who is isolated.

Thank goodness for a voice of reason.

I had practically just said before hand I don't like how they are all standing round him picking at him then Marc piped up.

LukeB 04-06-2015 09:10 PM

Marc is not that bad of a person imo!

Looks to me like forum members are looking for a V.I.C.T.I.M. again.

bots 04-06-2015 09:22 PM

there are 3 or 4 of the old house mates that have become a little pack of hunting dogs. I don't like it. The word bully is thrown around so often at the least thing. The pack are bullies. Mark is aggressive and uncouth but he is not a bully, there is a big big difference

Or they just discovered Simon saying one thing to a persons face and another in the diary room and challenged him on it. I'd take your own advice on throwing the word about too often.

Oh you mean like 99.9% of ALL BB housemates do every single series.

I caught some of the show and have repeatedly said I'm keeping up with it on the forums and the site. I see you're incapable of arguing a point again.

Seriously, the need of viewers of this show to find some poor isolated victim so they can feel morally superior by coming to his protection and condemning those who are called "bullies" has always rubbed me up the wrong way.

You didnt watch it did you? They were all aligned togerher, taking turns to have pot shots at him, egging each other on. That is pack mentality.

If you are going to constructively comment on the forum, at least watch the program

Really, saying to Chloe that she is going to win and will deserve it and then going to the diary room and saying she would be undeserving because she's lazy (which apparently she's not)? And all this after she was one of the people who comforted him when he was under attack previously. I can't think of many housemates who have been that blatant.

But hey, 99.9% of HMs do that apparently

I'm perfectly capable of arguing a point when someone is replying to me with a counter argument, you are going on about the bully word being thrown around and so on, I never called anyone bullies.

And of course you only caught some of the show.

You mean Simon ?

He needs to grow some backbone.

Says he felt he couldn't say it to Chloe's face.
Shows he cares about her.
But if you're gonna say things, don't suddenly pull back just cos the flack is there.

Doesn't make his case well.
Can't believe how easy he backed down tonight.

I'm going on about the need of forum members to find a victim. You are doing that. You're also trying to make Marc out to be saint when he's calling girls fat. Insulting and demeaning remarks justified with the excuse of "banter"

I am in no way trying to make Mark look like anything, I have also said that some of the things he says is out of order.

And no I'm not trying to find a victim, I'm posting my opinion on what I see so how about you stop attempting to tell me what I'm doing.

I personally hate to see a group mentality and would have to speak up if I was present during a situation like that, I find it admirable of Marc that he said exactly what I was thinking.

I would have agreed until he jumped into bed with Sam on tonights show. Earlier in that day, someone (I forget who) took Marc to one side and warned him to go easy with Sam because she was falling for him. Marc acted surprised and said words to the effect that he wouldn't lead Sam on....

....then he jumps into bed with her and has a snog.

The guys a rat.
