:"I'm a bully" but refuses to apologise R.E Brian

Big Brother’s Helen Wood brands Aisleyne Horgan-Wallace “embarrassing” in tonight’s show while admitting she’s a “bully”.

In this evening’s episode, Helen is in the Diary Room and complains to Big Brother after Aisleyne’s entrance, “I think she’s [Aisleyne] pretty aware that I’m not arsed at all about her presence.

“How she talks just scrapes on me. She talks like she’s a gangster. She tries to sound like she’s from ‘So Solid Crew’ or something. It’s embarrassing.”

Helen concludes: “Them two [Aisleyne and Nikki] girls are my worst nightmare. The further we stay apart the better.”

Later, Nikki, Aisleyne and Nick are in the sky room.

Nikki sighs: “I’ve been made to feel so unwelcome here in a place that I truly love…. Why is [Helen] staring?”

Aisleyne responds, “Because when you see your idol, you stare. If we saw Beyonce, we’d stare. If I say Rhianna, I’d stare. Or it’s an intimidation thing.”

In the evening and as her final night in the house draws to a close, Helen is asked by Chloe if she’s going to watch the past shows to see how she’s been portrayed.

Helen responds, “I know how I’ve been portrayed. I’m a bully.” They talk about Brian. Helen says, “I’m not apologising for it.”

LukeB 26-06-2015 02:44 PM

Great she finally admitted she's a bully but not saying sorry for the Brian thing how pathetic,

bots 26-06-2015 02:45 PM

thread title is misleading, she says she is being portrayed as a bully, not that she is one

BB4fan 26-06-2015 02:45 PM

Aisylene started all the events in lasts nights episode. Helen was only sticking up for herself.

Well done Helen.

Jason. 26-06-2015 02:46 PM

At least now we know she has a speck of self-awareness.

:umm2:

Niamh. 26-06-2015 02:47 PM

lol she doesn't actually admit that she's a bully though, she says that's how she's being portrayed

"I know how I'm being portrayed. I'm a bully" is not the same statement as "They are portraying me as a bully" though, although yeah that's probably what she meant

The first sentence is in reply to her own statement of "I know how I'm being portrayed" though Jake (this coming from someone who hates Helen and does believe she's a bully btw)

Jack_ 26-06-2015 02:48 PM

Not really an admittance

You know it's a shame that Big Brother isn't as big as it used to be because she's lucky, if the show was still popular and got as much press attention I'm pretty sure her treatment of Brian the other night would have escalated into something like the race row scenario, where there'd be security at her eviction and she'd be forced into doing multiple apologies whilst crying a la Jade on BBLB. She's going to get away scot free cause the show isn't that popular anymore.

At least she admits to being a bully.

I remember when Alexandra was ejected in BB9, and had her interview with Davina. She kept trying to worm her way out if it, and blamed the other housemates for her aggression. And couldn't just admit she was in the wrong. Even Davina was getting annoyed at her. She even played the editing card at one point.

Davina - "Are you sorry for shouting at Bex about those chips?".
Alex - "No because those chips were disgusting".

Well done Helen.

And Nikki ...as Helen rightly says she doesn't start an argument, but by God she finishes one :dog::dog:

Kazanne 26-06-2015 02:51 PM

Looks like she is saying she will be portrayed as a bully, not that she is calling herself a bully, she knows from last time round what she will be branded as,I saw that convo between Ashleine and Nikki, cringe at it's best, good job Nikki is going as Ashleine was not helping her at all.

If you're talking about BB post CBB5, then I'd agree.
She'd probably have no crowd for her eviction.

But if we're talking before January 2007 BB. Then she would've got away with it.
There was a lot of racial undertones in BB6, but nobody batted an eyelid about that at the time.

If that series aired a few years later, in 2007 or 2008 per se. It probably would've been cancelled.

“I know how I’ve been portrayed. I’m a bully.”

You are misinterpreting what she said..she made the comment in reference to how she would be portrayed...It was not an admission.

But go ahead..I've found that many people prefer to put a spin on thing things that fit their preconceived idea instead of looking at things with a critical eye..

i for one hated Helen last year ... but aside a few comments she hasn't done anything wrong this year. the evidence for brians repeated bitching and blow up are right there on your screen..but most of you just explain it away saying "Helen made him do it"

Creggle 26-06-2015 03:00 PM

Helen is spot on about Nikki/Aisleyne. Why must Helen go? Why do we have to be stuck with Aisleyne, she's like a **** Helen. :(

You're being portrayed as a bully because you are a bully, Helen. :hee:

Angelika 26-06-2015 03:17 PM

Helen thinks she's portrayed as a bully because she realises, but doesn't admit, that if she was in the producers shoes that is how she would portray herself. Helen always stresses how she always tells the truth - her truth is she believes she can only be portrayed as a bully for her performance thus far in the BB house.

Sad, one would have thought Helen and Marc would both have learned how to be civil and that it's not always appropriate to blurt out anything, including the truth, without considering the outcome. Both need coaching in social skills imo.
