Housemates to be split up on launch for the twist?
 

"We’re going to see a split between the housemates from launch night. I know what the first big twist will be and it’s a good one. It won’t disappoint," Rylan told the Daily Star newspaper.

"The theme is going to ramp up the competition because it’s going to be very patriotic," he continued. “The Americans we’ve had in the past like Speidi love saying it’s all about Team America. But that gets the Brits’ backs up. They’re thinking ‘You’re in our country’."

It would be cool if the house was split up in two sections

Americans get the first room (BB16 living area), with small kitchen and sofa area/dining, and some beds.

And then UK HM get the BB16 bedroom, with kitchen/lounge/dining/ and beds. And then they each share the bathroom.

(that would actually be cool, if they did a Turf Wars with UK vs. USA battling it out for certain areas of the house. I'd be up for that, tbh.

yeah that would be cool, the loosing team who don't win the bedroom have to camp outside.

And the loosing team who don't win the bathroom have to use an outdoor shower.

Rylan has seen those set to enter the house and reveals there are some 'older' stars.

"It’s a brilliant line-up. There’s usually one American you love watching – but this time there’s more than one," he teased.

He added to the tabloid this weekend: “There are also some celebs who’ve had a break from the limelight who no one will expect to see in the house.”

Well last year we were teased a 'current' line-up and we ended up with David McIntosh and White Dee so we'll have to wait and see

Last years line up was the complete opposite of current.

CBB launch twists are always nice and simple but never really add much, like semen pretending to be a duchess for a few days or people being handcuffed for a while or basement

I predict that they'll be split into UK and USA teams but I may be wrong :fan:

What they could've done was have a USA pretending to be UK, and a UK pretending to be USA (double agents), and whichever one succeeds would give their country immunity for the week. So if UK gets found out but USA doesn't, the two swap back and USA win immunity.

They're celebrities though. Don't say that they'll have ones irrelevent enough to do that, don't say that! Even if they did have someone like Danielle Marr or Jasmine Waltz, c5 wouldn't embrace the fact they have Z-list nobodies that would get away with being on a different team.

I've always thought starting with a split house would be a good way to start a series. BB is always at its best when cliques form.

They did it with CBB11 but the cast wasn't strong enough for cliques apart from Spedi.

Everyone was similar and got on.

With the rumoured cast it really should be good with UK vs USA.

So are we getting an equal amount of UK HM'S and US HM'S? Cause I've only seen like 4 US housemates rumoured and over 10 UK
