Christian Tyson Fury: Gays, Paedos, Abortionists and The Devil
http://ichef-1.bbci.co.uk/news/660/c..._tysonfury.jpg
Boxer Tyson Fury has spoken out on his views about women and gay people, as a petition calling for his removal from the BBC's Sports Personality of the Year shortlist reaches 80,000 names. Fury has been quoted as saying a woman's "best place is on her back" and criticised homosexuality and abortion. In the aftermath of his win in Dusseldorf, Fury had said: "I'm not sexist. I believe a woman's best place is in the kitchen and on her back. That's my personal belief. Making me a good cup of tea, that's what I believe." But Fury, who refers to himself as the 'Gypsy King' because of his Irish traveller heritage....., told BBC Radio 2's Jeremy Vine programme on Monday: "I love my women and what I said goes for my wife alone. She knows her place, I know her place. That's our culture of people. "That's nothing to do with the world or anybody else and if I was a normal person, I wasn't in the spotlight, no-one would be making a scene about what I say to my wife." The new world champion has also previously said it would only take the legalisation of paedophilia in addition to the decriminalisation of homosexuality and abortion to see "the devil come home". There are only three things that need to be accomplished before the devil comes home: one of them is homosexuality being legal in countries, one of them is abortion and the other one's paedophilia. Let's not try and make me out to be some evil person and I hate the gays because I don't hate anybody. I can actually say I don't hate anybody. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-35031110 __________________________________________________ ____ Naturally Fury is a Christian and is only regurgitating Christian Mantra as he understands it and has been "taught" Would you vote for the Big Man to win BBC Sports Personality? |
I've signed the petition! He's a disgrace and should be wiped out of sport entirely!

What a delightful person, it's an outrage that he's been nominated for a sports personality award when his personality is obviously wretched.
Can we have a link to the petition?
When I first saw him on the news, I thought he was either one of two things:
a) gay b) homophobic So, I kinda called it.. |
Just...gross. In every respect.
Stupid petition. He's entitled to his opinion. It may be a ****ed up one, but he's still entitled to it. He deserves to win the thing if we were looking simply at achievement so trying to get him kicked off the shortlist would be moronic.
Or perhaps it'd just give a good example that being a dick isn't tolerated even if you're the world heavyweight champion
One fight where his opponent performed ****e and it was boring as ****. No thanks. Guy is a **** and there are far bigger and better achievements on that list.

Freak.

Many gypsy travellers behave like this BUT its the politically correct people who stopped people being able to discuss gypsy behaviour labelling that too as racist....so in effect its the hardline intolerant radical liberals who have made this problem much worse
You aint no Christian bruv......
As the public have to vote for the winner then I can't see him having a hope of winning.
Tyson has his beliefs, comes from his culture and his being a born again Christian. He may love his wife, but he certainly does not show her any respect talking about her in that way, but then again he is rather uneducated and brash. |
He deserves to be nominated for what he achieved. He might be a dick but that doesn't take away from him upsetting all the odds and becoming world champion. Will be ridiculous if he's removed.
.....hmmm, I don't know about this...he deserves it on his sporting achievements and his values are his values, he's not instilling them on anyone else, no matter what we think of them...aren't there people who have won this before whose values we might personally question...who have cheated on their wives etc..?...is that not similar, it just seems like a moral policing thing and is that right or appropriate because he's openly stated his life values and opinions in certain things...
..in thinking about this more actually I think that it would be wrong to remove him because of his culture and values...so many times there have been threads etc about prejudice shown to the travelling community, which there is...so to remove him because he holds beliefs that many travellers do would be undoubtedly prejudiced and wrong....

I thought we were all for defending peoples rights on this forum, he is a product of his culture, he has his beliefs and though we may not like them, they are not that different to those held by say a devout Muslim who I think we would all agree until the cows come home are entitled to their beliefs, How many more nominees have unpalatable views and beliefs that we know nothing about, should we go digging for them and get them removed as well, ridiculous petition, I hope he wins :D:
