Accidental rape
 

A millionaire property developer has been cleared of raping a teenager after claiming he accidently tripped and fell on her.

Ehsan Abdulaziz, 46, was accused of forcing himself on an 18 year-old-girl who had slept on his sofa in his Maida Vale flat after a night out drinking.
The businessman had already had sex with the teenager’s 24-year-old friend, whom he already knew, in the bedroom and said his penis might have been poking out of his underwear when he fell on the teen.
The young woman said she had woken up in the early hours of the morning, with Mr Abdulaziz on top of her, forcing himself inside her.

Unbelievable, the justice system is shot. :/

I know a guy who was raped by a woman.....he told her no more sex that he had to work at 7am but she wanted to shag and drunk all night...so he goes to the other room to sleep...he sleeps naked....later he awoke and she was riding him with his penis inside him. she had grabbed his penis put it inside her and ridden him..he could have impregnated her? nuts

Remember when everyone thought it was hilarious / ridiculous and absolutely no one believed him, and he got a ban for biting?

I am hoping there is some side of this that hasn't been reported that was important in coming to the conclusion, otherwise it beggars belief

Is it any wonder so many rape vctims don't report the crime.

If this had been my daughter, this rapist may have found he accidentally threw himself under my car at some point.

I can only hope that there was some substantial evidence that wasn't mentioned in the article otherwise this seems like a grave miscarriage of justice.

The press will of applied for a copy of the transcript but we may have to wait until January before we read more about it.

I love it when, on the strength of one story, the all the details of which none of us on here know, everyone seems to agree that a justice system that served us well for a long time now, is ridiculous, that it's a miscarriage of justice, that the legal system is unfair...

I think I'll leave it till I have all the details before I dismiss our legal system as being "shot".

I don't think the justice system has served women well, historical, on the issue of rape. And if this were the only story I had heard on how hard it is for a woman to prove that a man found trying to insert himself into her while she slept is an act of rape, maybe his innocence would be easier to believe... But I doubt it.

Rape is naturally a difficult thing to prove, it's nothing to do with the Justice system not serving them well. How are we supposed to know what happened if there's no evidence?

I would agree that historically women have been treated badly by the justice system, but things are improving albeit quite slowly. While I do agree with what you say on the whole, this is one report in a newspaper with only one side of the story. Not enough for me to condemn the whole justice system, I'm afraid.

Not like me to wander into these parts... but with kirk away I though there might be room for one more.

What really bugs me about this report is he hasn't denied that he was found on top of a young girl with his penis out and actually trying to insert into her... But that some how there is a way in our world to logic away such a scenario. I don't care if you are drunk or sleep walking or have 1000 degree temperature... there has to be some kind of justice for the young girl who woke up with a man on top of her, with his penis on the way in. The kind of emotions and fear that invokes on a women shouldn't be dismissed

He must have had a very very good lawyer to get off on that defence.

I don't often agree with Livia but I do in this case.

What we have been fed is an incomplete story...the rest will or won't follow at some point. All the press had when this went to print was an 'accusation' and a 'not guilty' verdict.

The press love leaving its readers to speculate over a half story without ever finishing the full story (because they got it wrong) Its up to us not to read too much into these alarmist headlines when we don't have the full picture in front of us.

Yes, rape can be committed by any gender.

But this story is utterly ridiculous.. why anyone would walk along with their dick out and then fall on a woman right into her vagina (inferring she would be in the nude too) is stupid.. the odds are near zero.
